Please increase vex mythoclast drop rate
Im not usually one to complain about bad rng, but i have been doing this raid every week for a while now and have had no luck getting it. Im only around 30 clears which is nothing compared to other fireteam members that i have played with. They were on their 60 and 70th completion and ive heard of others that are on their 100th. There is honestly no reason that anyone should have this bad of luck on an exotic drop.

Raid Exotics should be hard to get, makes it rewarding once you get it. I got vex on run 51, frustrating? oh hell yes but it kept me playing and that's a win for bungo.

Maximum anyone could be at this week is 69 looted clears if they did all 3 characters (Titan, Warlock and Hunter) each week since launch. Overall total clears don't count. That being said I'm one of those folks on 69 looted clears without it and in my 186 total clears I've only seen 15 people get it with 5 of them being their first raid clear after being away from the game for months, 4 others were 2nd time drops and 1 person got Vex back to back. It hurts at times but I'll keep carrying on.

3 RepliesIt’s interesting seeing how many more of these complaints there are compared to past raid exotics only getting the odd post once and a while. 5% isn’t a perfect system but it beats a brain dead mission you can do in half an hour

Not trying to flex, but I got it third try and suffered with literally every other raid exotic, Bad luck protection needs to happen for EVERY raid exotic.

I got it to drop on my 76th run. Been doing it every week since I started on all 3 characters. I agree with you. At least it needs bad luck protection.

I mean.... people are against guaranteed drops like divinity..... wish there was an in raid quest that took 6 or so clears to complete doing different in raid tasks/puzzles/ challenges for a guaranteed drop. Heck flawless raider should be guaranteed. The raid sherpa emblem should give a 50% drop rate buff for that specific raid. Idk I'm just spit balling ideas here. It feels like the RNG is so bad just to throttle play time.

But on the other side of the coin if you buy “Witch Queen” you get gjallahorn, this should eliminate “Must have Gjallahorn” for the majority.

2 RepliesDefinitely! I could sure use a 4th I'm convinced that they only increase drop rates after you have it already. Took me 33 to get Vex but got 2 since Took me 49 to get 1K but got 5 since Took me 67 to get Anarchy. Only did 69 SoTP Got Eyes of Tomorrow on 11, 22, and 36

I got it on my fifth clear this weekend. It really seems like the people on these forums making posts like this so desperately wanting Vex, so much as to belittle others and curse their luck, over pixels in a game; just aren't going to get it for a long time. If I wouldn't have gotten it, I wouldn't have been torn up about, I have plently of other guns to use that wipe content.

4 RepliesVOG has been out for 23 weeks. 23 x 3 = 69 (nice). This is the most amount of lootable clears anyone can have until the Tuesday reset. If people are at 100+ clears than they have done a lot of unlootable clears.

I didn’t even bother with the whole raid. Just jumped into an Atheon cp once or twice a week and got it after like 4 weeks. Pretty sure I have less than 10 clears. Sucks for some because the guys I played with had dozens and still hadn’t got it. It’s bungie’s way of keeping devoted players coming back week after week after week.
