Hard Light with Stasis? thoughts?
if its got all the light why cant it have dark?

Bungie clearly is rolling with pairing stasis with kinetic weapons.

12 RepliesOmolon would have to produce a new weapon with only Stasis. Otherwise they would be laughed at for renaming Hard Light as “Hard Dark Light” or “Hard Light Dark”.

Nah, I'd rather have a new exotic that will be able to swap through the three darkness subclasses whenever the next two become a thing.

I think once we have two more Darkness subclasses we should get a hard light style weapon for those.

switching energy types is already enough of a pain. switching between stasis too will make it unwieldy.

Don’t know how that would work, dark subclasses seems to be taking place in the kinetic slot. Last I checked, hard light is in the special slot. Its also in the name, the rifle clearly favors the light hard lol.

1 ReplyStasis is kinetic currently, and that would make it Harddark which would be cool to use, but would break its lore tab and it would need a retcon for its current lore tab. Also bouncing ice that can potentially freeze things might be a bit OP.

For the same reason it doesn't use Kinetic. Stasis is in an entirely different slot, thus gives it more versatility. Putting it on Hard Light wouldn't make sense.
