I think we all agree Vex is a little overpowered and in need of some slight balancing. That being said, one change I think would be great would be for the 360 AR archetype that was done with the Mythoclast would be to make it into the 390 AR archetype. It would make those weapons viable in PvP, giving them a 0.77 second ttk. While Vex should definitely be best in class, the other ARs should be viable. A good way to balance the weapons overall might be a precision multiplier decrease so that headshots hit 34 per crit instead of 36. Those are my thoughts overall

Hmm, I thought about this as well. I think Vex should just be a 360 rpm imo.
-
Vex is only overpowered in PVP, in PVE its perfect

2 RepliesEdited by Erijian: 10/21/2021 12:48:58 PMFirst I'd like to see Vex cause less flinch and require more Guardian kills for linear mode. If that works fine and the complaints die out then Bungie could do a pass on 360s without much worry.

3 RepliesVex isn't op, it's just a good weapon.
-
wherever fusion rifle is op in this season cuz mod,i have vex since forever, never used at all ,I rather to used my coordinate vorpal and 1k,and that combo is what you can call op,but for this season only
-
Just ask them to make your weird archetype op like everyone else does. You don’t need to hide it behind a buzZword gun like vex. Your post went from being background noise to slightly annoying background noise.
-
Agree
-
It's only OP because of the mods, once they're gone, it'll just be really good
-
19 RepliesThe Vex has limitations and is not the be-all end-all gun you're making it out to be. Of all the weapons to worry about, Vex isn't the one. All you're going to do is ruin it for the PvE players who enjoy using it, as there are plenty of options in PvP that are better than vex.

2 RepliesEdited by Vale: 10/20/2021 9:56:53 PMvex is getting nerfed with witch queen...
-
Honestly it would have been fine if they didn't add the rate of fire buff on top of the other buffs. They should have left its rate of fire on par with other high impacts.

People will want 360’s nerfed, have patience vex is supposed to get clipped per b If you haven’t gotten it yet hopefully it drops night before it’s nerfed so you can at least try it out

2 RepliesI can hear the nerf cries already….
-
10 RepliesNot gonna happen. We will never have a non hand cannon meta. Remember how short the 600 rpm auto meta was?
-
alternatively, give use 900 rpm autos back. smgs can go suck on ice.
-
1 ReplyAll these hand cannon crutchers will cry about ARs being good, but like all weapon types are viable in other games with a few outliers for best/worst in class. ARs are standard S tier in CoD, but you can run an SMG, LMG, Sniper, Shotgun, Pistol, or even a knife, as long as you know it's strengths you can beat really anything. Not the case in D2, the common Travellers Chosen will most often times lose to a hand cannon with little to no contest. Before anyone says anything, yes if you're really skilled with weapons you can slay with really anything, but I'm talking about the general populace here. An average player usually won't be able to do much against the meta with non meta, and that kinda sucks

7 RepliesBetter stability is what those puppies need if you ask me. Side to side recoil is impossible to control. Fix that and the 360s would be super viable choices.
-
3 RepliesI dont have vex mythos yet on d2, but I can tell you that it shredded in pvp back in yr1 d1 until it got nerfed. I remember those days. *sigh for not having 1 yet*
-
5 RepliesIf you are calling for a vex nerf make sure you don’t leave out chaperone, which happens to be the best sniper in the game, or the desperado perk on messenger. Oh and while we are at it let’s nerf slide again, it didn’t get nerfed nearly hard enough. Hell I can’t leave out shatter dive, which happens to be the best super in the game right now. Ah hell who am I kidding, just nerf it all and the we can run around slapping each other with our dicks. I doubt that would work though, because eventually someone would want to nerf everyone to the same size.
-
No. No we don’t all agree.
-
8 RepliesThe only reason you all are crying about vex being op is because it’s a strong gun that you don’t have. This same instant has happened many times before but I guess learning from the past isn’t a strong suit on here.
-
1 ReplyEdited by Raging Respawner: 10/20/2021 8:50:12 AMThe gun is to strong. For one it takes primary ammo. But has a mode that practically turns it into a heavy weapon. Has a .77ttk. It’s all I see pvp mains use on YouTube or twitch. Anyone who says it doesn’t need some adjustments is out of their minds. But yes auto rifle buff plz
I think we all agree Vex is overpowered and in need of some balancing.
It's been 7 years and game has never been balanced. They always create this instability in the sandbox to create powercreep so that y'all keep grinding that endless hamster wheel over and over again. It's all planned and intentional. They did this intentionally. They even say it sometimes, everytime they say they'll shake up the sandbox, it means shifting the meta so y'all keep running the giant hamster wheel. Game is never about balancing. It's always been imbalanced. Its been imbalanced for the last 7 years now. It was never balanced then, it will never be balanced now. It's all planned. Now run!

360 needs buff because they are trash, theres nothing about vex, master race just do the anti gun cry everytime there's a new one
-
5 RepliesI think the real issue this season is the lack of PVP midrange weapons this season. Some of us don't want to use HC's. Which seems to be everyone's answer to everything. I don't like most of this season's weapons. I don't think the low rate of fire weapons are ever viable in PVP.
-
4 Replies34 to 36 Doesn't really change anything... It's still 6 headshots.
