They'll have to go flawless eventually, and a majority of the streamers that have a following (and thus the only ones Bungie would listen to) are carrying people through the flawless pool. Hell, they changed the matchmaking too, you can't see the players until you load in. So are they listening to all these streamers? When Bungie is doing what you asked and directly stated very very few people are resetting flawless cards before their flawless game? Seems like a scapegoat for people who are struggling in trials.

Too bad that Bungie exclusively cares about and caters to streamers. Literally with most of their decisions. Even in pve. Significantly reduced drop rates of lower level nightfalls in favor of GM Nightfall drop rates. Let the service streams boom. It's so sad. How can a company be that focused on the tiny minority of the community (content creators). Most of their "top" streamers left the game already. When will they realize that they should cater their game to the community instead of 24/7 playing neckbeards.

Let it…I played trials a bit for the first three weeks this season and don’t care to get stomped again. Maybe when the new season starts. The weapons are slick and plentiful at first as you rank up so one doesn’t care if they get stomped. Now it’s frustrating as piss, so peace. Till next season guardian.

why do you think streamers are the problem? They make up a tiny percentage of the people who play. I was carried flawless by a streamer last weekend and it wasn't stomping at all, it was a double carry and every match was competetive. The people who abuse the reset most are super sweaty trials stacks who constantly reset and stomp when they should be in the flawless pool. And this is definitely a thing, so many times i have looked up opponent teams when the flawless pool is open and they are on 20+ win streaks. These teams are lame, they are the top 2% of players and most of them are scared of a challenge and protecting their fragile little ego's from maybe losing to a better team. They have 2 full days to stomp people but still hold off going flawless until last thing on Monday. Pathetic.

100% accurate. I don't understand match making. Today, I was on Game 6. Got matched with a Duo that has NEVER been flawless and was on a 5 game LOSING streak. How!? WHY!? Make that make sense.

The 6 win resetting was much more obvious last weekend as was the drop in active players which made the pool just as toxic (because the 6 win reseters on 50 win streaks who bag while doing that are toxic) and unplayable for medium skilled pvp players Bungie really tried to cater to the excellent players by giving them Friday and Saturday to pub stomp but they can’t help themselves from peeing in the pool So trials will return to being what it was last season. And with super low player activity and the failure of their legitimate tries at making trials better they won’t touch it again.

Ranking system like halo 3 would resolve these issues

They should track number of wins in a row instead of wins on the card for the flawless pool, that way you cant just reset card to avoid going into the pool. This would solve the card reset problem and force those who want to abuse the system into the flawless pool without hurting those who play normally. If destinytracker can track wins and losses accurately down to the second, theres no reason bungie cant.
