Bannerfall is dogshit, prove me wrong
Please remove this map from the trials rotation, it is absolutely garbage. PROVE ME WRONG

Nah its a map that favours long range play whilst also managing to provide for some unga bunga play. Every map being the same old mid-range slugfest is [i]boring[/i]

It's a map that doesn't suit the HC mains. A hard hitting pulse or scout rules this map.

It's by far the hardest map so far to play in this rotation, its good for making us use different weapons to be successful, it's a range map, play to it's strengths.

I'm not an ape either. I run Pulse Rifles or Witherhoard/SMG. The map is bad for solo players because it's too difficult to clean up stacked teams when your own team refuses to put pressure and wants to hide in the back scared and because of free headshot lanes and Barricades. I am 100% salty and will take all of the insults on this one.

It leads to stale gameplay throttled through locking out lanes and the lack of real rotation possibilities. Most of the time it just leads to a campfest with either snipers locking every lane or people just camping inside of A or C to get easy kills with shotties or shatterdive. Bannerfall is a bad map and should have stayed in d1.

23 Replies1. Try not going into Trials underleveled (1329). 2. Banner fall is actually a well-design map. So you can’t lockdown the map with DMT by scoping lanes and team shooting. The map has flanking routes that let opponents bypass those lanes and destabilize your position. That design feature (that was absent in almost all D2 maps) is why Crucible is dominated by recycled D1 maps.
