Yeah you see guys like this sometimes. On the second week of the season, only 10 days in, I saw a player who was over rank 400. It is simply mind-boggling to consider the effort to do this. I've been playing fairly regularly on all sorts of activities in PvE and PvP and I'm only in the mid-200s now.
