Bungie those Silver prices are and always have been SHOCKING! I would like all three Dino ornaments and a few of the finishers but that would cost me over £40! The price of a new game almost! Please explain your costings when you aren’t making an actual outfit and using real garments! Yes these can also be bought for bright dust but I don’t have 18000! I don’t even have 3000. Honestly it’s quite a disgusting pricing system you have.

They should bring back eververse bounties for those cards and make it so we can have easier access to said items then put out bright dust alternative prices on all items in the sliver store like they do with the event out fits EX: Dino holloween cosmetics cost 1,500 silver or 6,000 bright dust Making it easier to get bright dust and allowing people to get it from the store instead of waiting for it in the shop rotation just to not have enough and missing out on it forever would give people a better way to get items and customize there characters If you say the devs need their money even tho a thought process like that is what ruins games with lots of fans then you could make ornaments for exotics that are silver exclusive for a certain amount of time say 1 or 2 season(s) so if people want it that badly they can get it for silver but if your patient you can get it for bright dust let's be honest people will spend sliver for it just to show off before everyone else gets it kinda like how people will pay and extra $100 dollars for early access Also I am worry about destiny's future cause the devs seem to be throwing up more money walls and raising the prices of things including the money walls to ridiculous amounts all while hiding behind their fake free to play claim

150 RepliesSome people want to get paid for their work, you know. And for that you're getting three outfits, which you have the ability to put on every legendary armor. Games are too cheap these days for their production cost, so they're trying to get in more money via the stores. A big house in Elder Scrolls Online costs me 125€ (about the same in £), and unlike Destiny 2 I can't get them with in-game currency.

After playing GTA 5 a lot and seeing shark card prices and what you can buy with the measly GTA dollars you get, silver prices are reasonable in comparison to be fair.

21 RepliesTheir demographic is people with jobs and 🐳. I wish Bungie considered that in a lot of places in NM the minimum wage is still $9 an hour. I believe the min wage in Seattle where Bungie is located is around $15-$16. Which is one of the highest in the states if I’m not correct. Point I’m trying to make is, Bungie doesn’t know that some of us have less money than they think we have.
-
2 RepliesI just wanna know why they think an emote is worth 4250 bright dust Not even a good one at that.
-
1 ReplyEververse prices are irrelevant to me. I just don’t buy things from Eververse.

Edited by kenet888: 10/15/2021 6:40:17 AMThose pricings targets 🐋 who are happy to spend hundreds or even thousands of $ on cosmetics. This is how branded goods are priced, inverted demand and supply. It has to be expensive enough to attract whale who then know they can show off to those who can't afford. Bungie is business and doing exactly that.

5 RepliesStart saving on bright dust then. Do better. Or Buy silver. It's your choice. No one needs to hear your whining about microtransactions.

2 RepliesEdited by ImYourZaddy: 10/13/2021 2:38:09 PMGeesh. Either get a job where you can afford stuff you want, or play destiny all day where you can earn more bright dust. 2 choices to get the things you want. OR, hear me out, you have the choice to not do either. But don’t cry about the prices are to high for virtual stuff.

Ngl things are abit pricey! 💰

Edited by FL00FING AB0UT: 10/14/2021 4:46:43 AMI don’t spend as much on Silver in Destiny, but I can’t really sit here and criticize Bungie when I regularly shell out $20 for new Operator and gun skins per bundle in CoD. 🤷♂️ You buy what you think is worth it, I guess. I personally don’t find much of the FotL stuff attractive enough to buy so I’m gonna see what comes around for Bright Dust and hope some good stuff is there.

Edited by Spawn Of Apathy: 10/13/2021 7:54:32 PMIt all comes down to how much is it worth to you. People can make any justification they want. Sure buying enough stuff in Eververse can run you the same price as a new game. Some people pay $60 for a linear single player game they beat in 12 hours, and then only play the game once. Maybe twice, but the second time doesn’t take nearly as long because they know what to do. So call it 20 hours of entertainment, charitably. I probably play 15-30 hours of Destiny 2 a week when I’m really into a season, and maybe 10 hours a week when I’m not. So in the low end I maybe play 120 hours a season. Even cutting that in half, to 60 hours over 3 months. That’s more than most people get out of most $40-$60 games. Even if I buy stuff in Eververse every season, I’m coming out pretty good on dollar spent to time entertained. If you really want that stuff, treat yourself. You obviously don’t do it all the time. You’ll enjoy using it in a game you enjoy playing. or grind out more seasonal challenges and repeatable bounties for bright dust to buy as much as you can with bright dust.

Why do people keep complaining about eververse? I am in no way defending bungie, but ffs this is the way it is just like any other game now. This is what gaming has come to and either buy it or don't. At least bungie gave you a way to earn ingame currency to purchase some things. Not all games are this generous and just want cash. This cr@p is getting old. You can't have everything. Make choices and stop crying about it.

New to cosmetics in games?
-
I saved up enough bright dust to buy two of the outfits. You don't have to pay anything, just save
-
3 RepliesI have 235K bright dust and I don't even want these costumes for bright dust. They look so stupid and somehow plain.
-
3 RepliesIf you cannot afford it then do not buy it. Simple.
-
5 RepliesI get your frustration, but keep in mind that majority of this games cosmetics can be earned through gameplay, so no matter what the ever-verse price is I’m not touching it, I’m already happy with the way my characters look. So unlike other games, not a ton of people buy the cosmetics cause they aren’t needed really, so they have to up the prices.

Most of the cosmetics look nasty anyway

I do politely draw to your attention that there is a reason we call it "festival of the cost".

1 ReplyDino ornaments look like a three year old made them and finishers are worthless lol. Keep your money and spend it on actual content when it comes out, aka witch queen hopefully.

If your and xbox or pc player and are a Bing member, you can used bing rewards to buy gift cards that you then use to buy silver. I bought all 3 with bing points.

Edited by Marasfurrywaffle: 10/14/2021 9:19:36 PMSo when it comes to bungie being inclusive of everyone, it does not apply to profits. Not everyone has the same disposable income, nor does everyone have the same amount of free time to earn Bright dust. They are excluding a vast majority of their player base who do not have the above. To quote bungie “If you do not intentionally, deliberately and proactively include, you will unintentionally exclude.”
