Can't update the game due to "appmanifest_1085660.acf/Disk write error" Never had problems like this before. Thank you in advance.

    I had the same issue. Tried everything verifying files (which got stuck at 0%), deleting destiny from steam, deleting steam cache. Nothing worked. In the end I reinstalled steam. So far the game is installing... so fingers crossed. I've never had this issue before with any game.

  • Hi! Had the same error, i did everything from checking the harddrive to deleting the gamefiles/checking permissions. What helped in the end was this: in my \SteamLibrary\Steamapps Folder was a "appmanifest_1085660.acf.tmp.save" file I deleted it, and steam started updating again immediatly. Hope that helps!
