Disaster. 90 days without Destiny 2? Cross save policy
I am experiencing a problem where the game attempts to start the "Forsaken" campaign when I go to the Tangled Shore. Essentially, I "land" on a big black sphere with no terrain and no where to go. I have posted twice on the forums about this issue without success. Yesterday I thought that the game was "confused" because I had both Steam and Xbox cross save activated. So, I tried to unlink the Steam account. What I didn't realize was that unlinking cross save would sever my connection to my "main" characters on Xbox for 90 days. THREE MONTHS? So instead of fixing my problem, I've completely been shut out. I've tried to reach out to customer service but, that seems to be impossible. I miss the old days when you could just pick up the phone and speak to a human being. If there is a Bungie representative monitoring these posts, can you please, please contact me so that I can use your product again. Thank you in advance.

Once Cross Save has been disabled, you will have access to your original characters on each platform. There is a 90-day wait to re-enable the feature. This policy exists to discourage activity like account recoveries by other players. If players disable their Cross Save for any reason they will have to wait out the 90-day lockout before they can enable Cross Save again. There are no exceptions to this policy.

15 RepliesPersonally, I disabled cross save before and they were able just to reset it.. so it’s honestly tough and scary gamble. Sorry mate good luck

Yo Bungie, help the homie Stormy out. Then once you're done with him/her, try helping other affected people out. Then maybe try to do a much more diligent job explaining why this is such a glaringly evil, terrible, unforgivable action. Getting a "gotta wait 90 days for being slightly ignorant/misinformed/making a mistake, nerd" then getting left on read when someone asks questions doesn't cut it.
