I wondered about that. Not doubting anyone's skill level but damn, the accuracy is laser point perfect.

I knew something was up when some guy came around the corner with a Lorentz Driver and IMMEDIATELY got a head shot. Like the gun didn’t even charge up. Just an instant head shot.

It’s happening in regular comp as well. I had not even turned the corner yet but was immediately killed by adored through the wall last night. Then again it could have been lag considering the other team was PlayStation and I was on Xbox, but I doubt it since this seems to be a recurring issue.
