INSIDE THE WARD OF DAWN vs WELL OF RADIANCE
Should you be able to fire from inside out of the ward of dawn? Which is more effective, the well of radiance , ward of dawn or banner shield ? And why ?

In full honesty. The design of the bubble is to balance the videogame, it doesn't make a gods damn of actual sense. All of the enemies in the destiny universe would know enough recon to know the bubble doesn't last forever and there would be lots of ways to thrwart them that Destiny just ignores because it's inconvenient. Should you be able to shoot through it? Frankly it doesn't make sense ot even use it if you can't in real world applications. You'd just get overrun, magic powers or not. but they need to balance their game so "no you can't shoot through it."

1 ReplyWard of Dawn forces the enemy to engage in closer quarters in order to beat you while Well of Radiance allows them to engage at longer ranges; this is of course if the enemy doesn't just brute force their way through the super. The tradeoff is more based off what your playstyle is. If you're better at CQC or playing more passively, then bubble will be better because you can jump in and out of the bubble with less risk to yourself. With Well, you can actively engage the enemy at longer ranges and your health regen/damage buff will outperform theirs, allowing for more aggressive play, but you're more exposed and are more vulnerable to higher DPS options. Both supers can be used offensively or defensively though so there's no bad option. Now if we throw Banner shield into the mix, it's basically a better Citan's Ramparts but I wouldn't compare it to Well or Bubble. It behaves differently and would be better compared to Arcstrinder's Whirlwind Guard.

1 ReplyI think both have their place. Similar in some ways, but the differences are important. You step into the we'll get your buffs, and fight from there. The bubble you step in get your buffs, and leave to fight back. So you have more options to where the bubble can be placed, and where you fight from vs the well that has to be in sight of the enemy, and people have to stay in it to take advantage of it.

Personally and as a Titan main, I don't think you should be able to shoot through the bubble. It's more defensive but I do think it should be able to withstand another super. Like if someone thunder crashes it to it or nova bombs, it shouldn't be able to destroy it and kill you. The whole point is to protect you and if someone runs in, it does just that but it doesn't really stand a chance against some supers. I'd like If they brought back what they did with destiny1 and let you choose what kind of bubble you have tho. Tbf I'd just be happy if they did just that to it!

1 ReplyI think ward of dawn should only be just a defensive super even though 95% of supers including well can kill bubble. I just think that bubble should become a little more stronger weapons of light and the bubble itself but who knows maybe in the voidrework we may see an interesting change to bubble to allow you to shoot out of it? Or maybe an exotic that allows you to do so?

Because you can actually fight back. In a Bubble, your at the mercy of those outside it. Your just as tanky in both, so Bubble doesn’t have an advantage besides the fact that it protects you I guess.
