Heir Apparent is actually unkillable in pvp.
The only counters are shatterdive (also overpowered) and burst supers. I threw 5 dawnblades at one earlier and it did 43 damage per hit, that is nothing. Also comp is designed with heavy every round so the enemy team can just burst aoe super when heavy comes up or use the equivalent of shatterdive. Please just address the gun, it is beyond not fun. The gun rewards you for doing absolutely nothing. No skill needed whatsoever.
Edit: I hope y’all realize that arc doesn’t do increased damage to the shield, it only damages the wielder more when it breaks. I appreciate the feedback anyway people.

I used a first in last out with vorpal and i one shot them.

Warlock stasis melee. Warlock stasis turret. Any arc super. Any arc grenade launcher or fusion.

I use a powered melee to kill heir apparent users. Usually running arc with Dunemarchers.

Stasis High Impact Arc Sniper Arc Fusions Arc ShotGun If as so much you break half their shield, they will back off. And in close Quarters they try to punch you, they Expose themselves. Never challenge HA alone.

Yo I wholeheartedly agree this thing is way too powerful in PvP. I have tried everything that isn't a bomb of a super on my Titan (Thundercrash). The only time it seems you will have a chance of popping it without one is in momentum where the weapons are doing a RIDICULOUS amount of increased damage. With that being said it is still stupid powerful, had to dump and entire mag of adept shadow price into it just to make the shield turn red IN MOMENTUM. It is awesome in VOG though, for Titans especially. Here's why. ATRIUM WARRIG AND BUBBLE! This is great for Templar if you're looking to one phase and you're stuck being the weapons of light supplier. Throw this chest piece on with Machine gun reserves (stacked), drop your bubble in that ring on the center staircase in front of templar (a well in front of the bubble is a great combo too. Spin up your shield, stand just on the edge of your bubble so your 15 sec weapons timer doesn't move and just dump all that ammo into his face. You also make a great asset for popping detainment bubbles on your teammates.

1 ReplyUntil it is fixed, I find that, depending on the map and mode, getting them to waste their ammo is a good way or countering it. They move slowly with it while its spinning up, so just peeking in and out of cover and them shooting you but not killing you , will waste their ammo. Otherwise freezing them with glacier grenades and shattering them works well.

You either use stasis or you dont. Id understand if arc damage could kill heir apparent but not even that works anymore
