I seem to constantly have Weasel errors all the time during evening peak hours (8pm PST and later) and constantly run into Weasel errors when attempting to play in a party alongside Discord voice chat. After playing solo all day in IB, strikes, and Seasonal Event.
I've spent hundreds of dollars revamping my home network, even getting a powerline adapter to run a hard line to my PC. I've run packet loss tests with less than 3% losses reported.
To limited success here's what fixes have "worked" with limited success:
* upgrading my wireless network infrastructure to a better mesh setup
* Switching to a wired connection (through powerline adapter)
* Closed all other applications and non-essential services
* Reducing graphics settings and resolution (for 1 day)
I've reached my breaking point tonight, attempting to play Iron Banner with friends. We would start a round, "Weasel" would hit me ~2 minutes into the match, and I would do random patrol related stuff to kill time. As soon as I joined back in it would be the same thing all over again. I didn't play a full round with them.
I've played since D2 launch. I've put money into the game for assets despite chiding from my clanmates. I'm hype for next expansion but I fear that this issue isn't going to go away. Destiny 2 is the only netcode that has serious issues with my setup. I'm trying to figure out exactly what's causing all of this, and I've tried a wide number of fixes but none have seemed to hold out. So I turn to the Bungie support community to help save my love for this game as long as my internet situation holds (which it will be for the forseeable future).
