Furthermore, the champion system is very restricting and pointless, LET ME PLAY WITH WHATEVER I WANT GODDAMMIT, NO! I don't like changing my weapons every season, just remove champions from the game or rework them, heck, remove artifacts completely, that'll fix pretty much everything.[/quote] I reached 15 power on artifact without grinding any bounty’s. I’m actually +17 right now. I don’t grind anything unless it’s for a weapon. The champion mods I do believe needs a rework. At the very least every single exotic needs to have an intrinsic mod like leviathans breath. But allow the artifact mods to either override the intrinsic perk or allow them to stack. Ex. Leviathans breath has unstoppable, well this season is overload bow. So either allow the leviathans to have both or have the overload replace the unstoppable. This would allow every exotic to be viable and pve exotics to shine like outbreak. I’m okay with artifacts buffing certain weapons. A permanent buff the likes of particle deconstruction would absolutely enable power creep and essentially destroy any resemblance of difficulty in pve. Especially if the same kind of buffs were applied to every power weapon. I play what I wanna play and I don’t do anything I don’t want to do, and I still am able to do grand masters every season. Is the repeat of season activity every week annoying? Yeah but I enjoy the story so I do it the one time and don’t do it again till next week. To me that makes it worth it because I wanna hear what savathun has to say every week. Honestly the only mind numbing thing I do is grind grand masters for weapons. I enjoy pvp so I mostly just play pvp. And to me that’s not mind numbing.
