Wayfinder's Voyage Quest chain
I'm at step 39 of 53, and I'm curious for anyone that's already completed this.
Is this chain really just shattered realm and Astral Alignment?
So far it's been over 30 of the steps out of the 39 I've done.
It's literally rinse and repeat.
Go to shattered realm, go to Astral Alignment/Blind Well, Turn in, go back to shatted realm to keep re aligning the same beacons over and over again (They need to use better quality materials I am guessing, they keep needing fixed every day) Kill the same exact guys over and over and over again, rinse and repeat.
Gotta give it to the team though, turn 2 quests into 53 I guess.

I despise game companies who force you to play like this. It takes any and all fun out of the activities. The Shattered Realms are awesome but the constant back and forth for absolutely no reason 39 times is beyond my brain comprehension. Same goes for the season of the splicer quest. My god it was stupid. We need more quests like Presage!!! The best quest/activity in Destiny hands down. Was so awesome running it the first time and its easily replayable and fun!

Ive just started ignoring the seasonal stuff. Its actualy pointless. Go to a vendor. Click on an 8x3 grid. Do a patrol level activity. Rinse, repeat. Thats EVERY season. Yet i see people say, "well, it was better than getting D1 style dlc, and then a 6 month drought" NO. No it wasnt. Gimme the D1 dlc rollout anyday, i prefer Quality>Quantity.

1 ReplyAnother thing that is really odd is the fact you need to keep going back to the moon, tangled shore and dreaming city each week to pick up the same bl@mming anchors just to complete the 4/4 in the triumph, because the shattered realm doesn't have enough of them. Like couldn't they at least put more on the planets but in different areas?

This is no different than the Path of the Splicer from the Season of the Splicer or Challenger's Proving from Season of the Chosen. The Year 4 seasonal story line quests have been nothing but ad nauseam for the seven weeks that the quest line is active.

Yes, it is. We are trying to return all the techuens so that they can exorcise Savathon and try and lift the curse from the Dreaming City. If you listen to all the conversations from the Queen, Petra, and all the others you would know.
