Stop sending disrespectful messages (Trials) Please.
I play some other video games for fun but D2 is my main game by far.
If you are a person that sends random messages to people like “you suck!” , “Play another game, you suck at this one” please stop. It’s not called for. This is a video game and a lot of people play for fun and just try to turn their brain off to separate from reality for a minute.
I never really played Trials until recently. I have never received random messages from other players before, in this game or any other. Until this weekend. If you are in a match made mode you may have me for a partner, or someone else that could care less and is playing for fun. If you’d like to stomp other players form a group and do that. And if you do stomp the other team don’t send them messages. Because I got messages from the other team as well! What is with this game mode that does this to some people. This is not even a competitive esports type game. This is a very small community.

This is mild compared to some of the language I’ve received. Been invited to parties by the other team where they scream obscenities at you, call you -blam!- and racist names, saying they hope you’re mother or sister gets -blam!-, etc. There are some truly evil people in the community.

Nothing like a random 24 hour ban out of nowhere to stop people from being dicks. -blam!- em all. Sadly, they’re mostly adults. The kids on Twitter who blame you for the crappy world while being hypocrites. Yeah, THOSE kids.

Really tells you something about the community that a lot of people seem to think you're the one behaving irrationally for voicing objection to losers online attacks. People who direct message you with abuse are morally and objectively wrong. Leave people alone. I don't care if you're mad you got bagged or you're mad you lost a match or you're mad at a team mate. You go be mad but you leave them alone.

Unfortunately people for whatever reason think solo cue is a way for them to go flawless without having to talk to people.. so you're gonna get some salty people. Not that its impossible to solo cue flawless just that you need to carry most games.. especially if you get a person on your team with the attitude you have.

3 RepliesI just report them and send the messages on. Gotten quite a few people banned from their behaviour. Maybe they’ll learn, maybe they won’t, but sometimes a 1-6 month ban might be what they need 🤷🏼♂️

Go look up modern warfare 2 lobby’s and search lobby fights. There was barely any moderation across all of Xbox for the tos at the time and you could legit tell someone to kill themself’s and send them messages calling your a failed abortion so on so forth with no ban, no punishment, just what the other person reply’s with. You wouldn’t of survived if you can let a few messages like “you suck” get to you lmfao

I didn't like it before but now I like it. It means you got so much under someone's skin that they took time to write. So I'm a gilded Unbrokenx3 and was playing comp because I was bored very casually. We last the first two rounds and a teammate wrote me saying I must have paid for Unbroken and my trials gear. I ended up clutching the match with most kills also. Same dude messaged me later saying my bad.

5 RepliesI had this happen earlier in Trials. Match 2 and a Team Mates asked me" Is this your 1st time playing Trials?" I danced at him every match after word and helped us win the game with the same K.D. he had. Then he says "Hmm NM GG". Bungie creates this environment for Toxicity to thrive. I hope the do what needs to be done with Trials and think really hard if Flawless is the right setup for a game so casual and cheesy
