Y'all need to stop crying and get your nappies checked.
The pvp community has done nothing but moan for ages about the lack of focus on PVP, now Bungie tries something new for ONE WEEKEND, and in LESS THAN 24 HOURS y'all are out here crying your asses off. Grow up.
Would you rather they just never try something new and you can be stuck with the same old boring -blam!- crap forever? I dunno if the outcry would be worse now or then, lol.
Personally I don't find the new mode that bad. I've played 6 matches and the only issue I ran into in those 6 matches were when I started running into stacked teams at 4 wins. The mode itself isn't that bad. Yes titans and locks can cheese it a bit but here's something novel, try using a zone control grenade and watch that lock melt in his well. Adapt. Think about your loadoout. It isn't rocket science.

I agree with you, I like the variety of different game modes. People always complain because they can't adapt to the new style or approach. But they will always complain when it's been the same same for so long. It's really hard to please people

Thing is we moaned coz bungie legit did nothing for pvp players for years, then it happened they finally fixed trials and received massive positive feedback...now theyre trying to fix what isnt broken anymore. I agree its fine to try new things to trials but they missed the mark with this, this change sucks and is to far away from the core character of what trials has become loved for.
-
I wouldn't say they fixed trials by any means. Yes the numbers were very impressive but bear in mind a lot of that was interest in the changes for week one and even week two. If left that way, those numbers would have declined because there are still issues with the mode, which even Bungie admit and the numbers they publish show the same. I don't mind this mode too much but I get that's subjective. I certainly doubt it will become a mainstay either way. Point is, it's silly for pvpers to start losing it over this. It's just a trial. It might work, it might not...but at least it's something. Flipping Bungie off for it is only likely to make them not want to bother.

I agree there's no point raging over it however overwhelming feedback atm tells me people who like the change this week are the minority of the community. Problem is if bungie does nothing but caters to casuals then trials will die coz it wont be the game mode people loved it for in the first place.

Agreed.

I get what your post is saying… but so what… are we not aloud to give feedback?
-
Give feedback to your heart's content, but this post is mostly about berating Bungie for this mode (and labs in general) even existing. Not exactly constructive. Imagine you work for Bungie, when you look at that post would you think... 'hmm, here's someone who's put some rational thought into a new feature. They've actually given it a chance and this is some valid and constructive feedback as a result' Or 'Okay, this guy hasn't even given the new feature 24 hours and is telling us off for even thinking about it. He seems to hate that we're even looking at trying new modes out. Maybe we should find another post that is less....ranty'

See now that’s a fair response 😁🍻🍻🍻
