HI there.
I mainly make this post as a concerned avid Destiny 2 player.
Recently, I have experience the Restricted! warning pop-up, in-turn being restricted from playing any form of PVP due to my connection (atleast I hope that, I die all the time in PVP so it aint for hacksman), for a 'temporary time'
Now. I play on console, and I play when I can, and if I can in a hectic day to day life, and on the weekend I actually had free, I wanted to play/grind trials. But since, I have been informed due to the pop-up that I cant join any form of PVP. Which immediately I was concerned about and reached out for people to suggest it is my connection due to no other reason.
So I got in touch with my internet provider to be told there is nothing wrong not their end, checked my D/L / U/L speed, and everything seems fine, tand that there is no worries from their perspective. I even mentioned that I was banned from an online game due to presumably, my connection. Which they were not bothered by again citing that there is no issue.
Considering there has been SOOOO many posts suggesting connection issues - and Bungie even stating this. I dont understand how to proceed other than that I am now I am temporary banned, with no warning as to why or a way to resolve it,
Am I frustrated with the situation? you bet. Am I frustated with Bungie, you bet.
I have already filed a report to try fix this - but I assume its going to take far longer than I expect or hope for this weekend.
Is there any other way to get this resolved?

4 RepliesBecause you’ve not mentioned it in any of your posts: Have you tried port forwarding? Are you playing on WiFi? Had a guy in raid last night who was curious if anyone else was getting errors, said he’d been given a temp ban after trying to play trials, went on to get errored out twice. I nailed the problem in one when I asked him “are you playing on WiFi?”.

13 RepliesMost likely no, usually for internet restrictions it goes 2 weeks for first offense then 2 months repeated.
