Just saying, they do need a buff. Due to the Meta, 180s are being completely outranged by weapons they can't even challenge most of the time. I main survivor's epitaph and I enjoy using it, but I don't want to be forced to use a boring weapon just to compete.

Edited by Obscure Meme: 9/26/2021 8:52:18 PMThe range scaler is actually the same between hand cannons archetypes, it’s just in general 180s roll with a lower base stat. Try getting one with full bore and an ammo mod like high cal. It’s the same situation with auto rifles unfortunately.

3 RepliesTo those saying that "hand cannons don't need to be buffed." I'm talking about a 180 hand cannon, which isn't meta and isn't used often from what I've experienced. And before people say "just adapt and use a different weapon." I would, if I wanted the game to be boring for myself. All I said was for 180 hand cannons to be slightly buffed, due to the long range meta which now exists. I'm not asking for them to have a 140 or a 120 rpm range, I'm asking for them to be a viable choice that can compete against other weapons in a fair manner. I didn't ask for them to be completely stupid and overpowered, since right now they are underperforming and can easily be countered in many ways.

Hold up. Now I was never a HC fan. In fact I never thought I'd use one but using Ikelos HC in my first full weekend of trials. I loved the fire rate balanced with damage. I got a fair few good kill streaks and was proud of myself. Maybe a little damage boost but I would not say they need a full buff. Sincerely 180 HC Crucible user.

Actually I think the vex mythos should have a little nerf. Too many high tier have them and they are ruining pvp like back on d1. And considering the drop rate is very abysmal...

2 RepliesI disagree. 180s have been good for most of the lifespan of D2. The same stale meta all the time would be boring. Plus, Vulpecula 3 taps with Harmony. Add range to it and it would be the only thing used on most D2 maps.

Totally agree. Always been my favourite HC type but rhe TTK is just not there. You can get kills but often lose gunfight. Wish they would just balance all HC and we can choose what we want to use instead of yet another Meta.
