Why do I have to delete alot of games
I have to delete 44gb worth of games for a 300 mb download what is this crap can this be fixed it's getting on my nerves every update I have to delete a game first was 70plus GB worth like why is this an issue

1 ReplyEdited by SirWinnipeck: 9/24/2021 9:34:14 AMHi there! This is due to the policy of Sony. Any update you download on the PlayStation will first be implemented in a copy of any update. After that it will overwrite the original files. This results in having to have more space on your HD than the actual update size needs. This is to prevent modding game files during an update and prevent faulty files to corrupt the whole installation.
