This game has some of the worst connection issues i've encountered in the last 10 years it honestly reminds me of games back in the early 2000's doesn't matter how good your internet typically is. I got 1000 down and 500 up and I still get opponents in the crucible that just literally teleport around or die 3 seconds after I output enough damage to kill them. It's absolutely shameless

Servers !! Lol, it's not their Servers that's the problem. It's the McDonald's WiFi that they have used since day 1 of Destiny 1 for coverage is their issue.

A lot of people have a PC, but do not know how to improve their connection through changes in Windows 10. There are so many things you can turn off it is incredible. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TFiuBoX4Mvg There are many other vids to watch as well about improving your in game Destiny 2 settings. It can take a couple of hours to change everything and get the lag down to near zero. Not saying it is your PC, but I bet you have not optimised it to the full.

Bungie makes 300 mil per year from Eververse alone, so it can't be money. Imagine this game with dedicated servers. Man... all the kill trading would probably disappear. Hit reg would be silky smooth. I'd hopefully no longer see those teleporting Titan's (it's always a titan) that warp around and somehow kill me with 1 melee hit even though they aren't using a subclass that can do that. One can dream.

11 RepliesEdited by Asylum: 9/23/2021 11:36:53 AMWelcome to Peer to Peer connection, nungie doesnt have servers because theyre either lazy, cheep, incompotent, or all 3 Edit - I stand correct they have hybrid servers where most of the game appears to be hosted by the client (you). But its still likely on bungies end when youre having connection issues unless your ISP is having issues.

This is the only game out to date that I know of that has more issues with connection than any game that I have seen in the last 7 years. No, I don't have as many issues as a lot of players do when it comes to the connection that it's rear that I get "connecting to destiny servers". Hmm, do you think their outdated P2P has anything to do with it?

3 RepliesI got a suspension from Gambit because I kept getting error coded out of games. Great way to keep people playing your game Bungie, by constantly telling them they can't play.

Been getting dropped in astral alignment a lot last few days.

On top of the error codes, its nice when none of the players or gun models render in and youre left with a bunch of ghost characters.
