Classes and subclasses are basically a way to organize guardians based on their preferred use of light and fighting style. In other words, a titan can pull out 2 double-edged void katanas.
Or at least that’s my interpretation.
My question is… can guardians use more than one “universal force”(I just want to put it put there that most perks or modifiers that mention these include the word “element” in the description or the title) at the same time?
Pretty sure they can. Felwinter (a Warlock) learned to shoulder charge from Jolder (a Titan).
Hunters apparently learned how to use blink from Warlock before suffering from mass amnesia.
Technically any class can learn any ability from
another class. Nothing is stopping a Hunter from using Dawnblade or a Titan from using Spectral blades.
Well we’ve seen Ikora use all manner of Warlock abilities. Same with Cayde. Sometimes their supers are cast close together so it’s possible they aren’t as limited to stats as our gameplay suggests.
As for inter class abilities. Someone said Felwinter the warlock learned shoulder charge from a titan. I haven’t read that but I’m just now rereading the lore after a long break.
I vaguely recall (second hand from a friend) that warlocks tried to teach titans Blink. But they were too heavy and they could only get so far as shoulder charge instead.
I don’t recall any instance of, say, a Titan using a Warlock super or a Hunter throwing up a barricade. But someone will probably point to a source.
