Stasis hunters/ Shatterdive are WAY TOO OFTEN in pvp

is really driving me insane. Every hunter so far has been freaking Revenant and it is to the point of everyone being ALL Stasis on the opposite team. Capture a point, hunter pops super and you run for your little life. Capture a point, hunter shatterdives you to death. Then, you have Revenant as both offensive and defensive as its pretty much used as EVERYTHING. I had 2-3 control matches, and the opposite team were all Revenant hunters. What was the point of the recent change to Stasis in the new season when Stasis is back in crapping pvp? Granted there are more light subclasses being used now, but hunters being only Stasis in every match and do nothing but shatterdiving is a load of crap. Before people start defending no nerf to hunter Revenant (hunter mains/crap users), shatterdive is a clutch when used SO FREQUENTLY in pvp. It instantly kills you and the damage is laughable.

    • I agree that shatter dive is out of control in pvp, but you should start dipping out of the zones when you see someone charging it. Don't be a sitting duck.

      • Bruh, you need to deal with it. I deal with shotguns, overly mobile titans and warlocks, one hit snipers from cross map and all around meme builds. It's a videogame man. Tell your fav streamer to get over it..unless this is your burner account to create drama.

      • The super for Revenant is horrid. Most people are only using Stasis for the Stat increases (like me). Glacier and Shatterdive is borderline the only good thing on the subclass right now. Get over it my guy.

        • Yea man let's get the Stasis hunter nerf while behemoth titans can do it too and can do it more frequently But I forgot, titans don't have shatterdive so I guess they're ok.... ?

        • For the Love of You-Know-Who..... BACK UP. I got killed by shatterdive yesterday for the first time in weeks....and I deserved it. I was plying Survival on Burnout....and I only needed to knockout this Stasis Hunter. He ran when the momentum in the primary gunfight went against him, and I chased him into that middle area that acts as a bridge across the inside portion of the map. Only to realize that he'd hid in the corner, and turned the tables on me when I rounded it. I got shatterdived....but he could have JUST as easily have killed me with a shotgun to the face or several other things. I was over-aggressive and out of position....and chased him into an area that I couldn't see into. ....and was punished appropriately.

            • Clearly you never played when beyond light dropped. I've not seen a team of 3 revenants more than once or twice a weekend. It used to be the only thing people used.

              • They should tie shatterdive to the melee charge, where you can still use the shuriken whenever but can only shatterdive with a charged melee

              • It’s because the abilities are so brain dead. The melee was fixed, for the most part, so you do actually have to aim it, and it doesn’t freeze anymore. But the Shatterdive is nearly brainless, and the super is the easiest free kills of ANY super. They need to make Shatterdive cancel the Fragment that boosts shatter damage and range, or make it to where the crystals won’t shatter unless you’re at the top of your jump. And change the super’s ice storm to be stationary once it activates, instead of roaming.

                • Don’t worry, the pvp community doesn’t like stasis so they won’t use it…. Oh wait…. That’s right the pvp community only uses that which is easiest to get kills with. My bad.

                • Its because it is litterally the only good hunter ability in the game. Titan has supression/shoulder charges to take care of supers and get instakills. Warlock has HHSN and storm nade and middle tree void melee to instakill and get rid of supers. Hunter LITTERALLY only has shatterdive to get rid of supers and instakill. And its cooldown is 2x that of the other classes. So if shatterdive needs a nerf AGAIN . Then those other abilities need to be nerfed too. But we all know titans and warlocks cant ever not complain if they get killed by anything from hunter. I still remember the NERF BOTTOM ARCSTRIDER MELEE posts ..which hasnt changed since release.

[/quote] The other two classes just have more options in terms of overall utility. Plus, silence and squall is just not that great of a super when it comes to how many kills it gets. Or how many trials matches it causes you to screw up.

                        Dont worry, the nerf is incoming. Idk what the nerf will be but im assuming enhanced glacial formation/dmg will be altered, shatterdive itself probably wont be nerfed (again).

                        Shatter dive fixes the one thing bad about hunter movement (being stuck in the air) and shattering glacier nades is brainless and can get easy multi-kills and kill supers and the super is at least 1 guaranteed kill and it’s a shutdown super
