I have to know how do you guys do it? I just played against a hunter who could shoot, strafe, jump, slide, ape with shotgun, throw glacier grenade, shatterdive, and shadestep all before I even aim down sights. Are there certain ways you guys customize the buttons on your controller? Do you all own Scuf controllers or something?

I use a tourney controller with extra bumpers. My triggers are bound to jump and crouch. I’m so used to playing like that that I can’t play with a normal controller anymore LOL. Also, movement skill gap is the true console gap.

I saw a guy before constantly bob up and down, the whole game, he slid n still bobbed mid slide. He got about 75 kills, irritating AF the things people will do. Seen numerous hunters do 3 things at once, like slide, shoot, melee, then vanish, and I've seen warlocks jump, dodge left, dodge, right , go backwards, whilst shooting and switching guns, at the same time. Since I moved to series S n I'm stuck on 60 fps, big TV, stock controller, my kd dropped from 1.75 to 1.1. Since crossplay, that 1.1 became 0.65, crazy desynchronization, no region lock, immune psn players, for me, crucible is simply unplayable now. BTW I still hold around 1.6 to 1.9 kds in all other shooters, just like the last 15 years. On the verge of quitting tbh

It's pretty normal, can be done on stock controller as well. You'll sometimes see people crouching down and up repeatedly while shooting/strafing/sliding. That is usually done on controllers with paddles like Scuff, Battle Beaver, etc.

clearly that is exagerated you cant be that slow, but pvp mains get to a point where spamming all the buttons is a skill with incredible timing.

They play claw or have paddles.

Very high sensitivity, low ads sensitivity, max turn velocity or whatever that setting is called + if you on Xbox and have one, an elite controller on green thumb controls I've found that to be the absolute best way to play destiny with a controller

Edited by Meaga: 9/22/2021 3:19:06 AMI play claw and just react fast, honestly movement isn’t hard to get move you develop the reflexes. If you want to get good at a hunter play rumble, it’ll give you a lot of unusual engagements so your comfort zone gets bigger and you can be more aggressive.

8 RepliesElite controller 2 is by far the best

6 RepliesI mean...you are pretty bad if you cant even aim in 5-6 seconds. A slide to dodge to jump alone takes 3 seconds by itself.
