I know theres many shaders when combined with the right gear cosmetic it will make you look all black but it only works when having specific gear cosmetics and shaders instead of one shader working for your current gear to make it all black and honestly it is pretty dumb because it limits your characters fashion. We don’t even have an all blue shader to add on to that either. I hope in time we can have shaders like in D1 that helped make everyones fashion style expand more.It helps us continue to come up with more fashion ideas because the true endgame of destiny is your fashion(joke). We don’t have much good shaders that make you glow. It won’t hurt to add an all black shader, a glowing shader(a taken shader) a shader that is of one color like the blue shader in D1(I forgot it’s name) I hope as time progresses with D2 the fashion opportunities with hunters, titans, and warlocks can expand more eventually but heres to hoping.
What do you think?
Edit: Why are people against how others want to dress their character? Isn’t that what makes them unique from the rest?

1 ReplyCan we just make a good shader system bungie. Like let us place the colors we want in the 4 quadrants of each armor piece.
-
What they should do is just let us free color, and break down all our shaders into texture effects. For example, we would be able to make our armor and weapons any color we want and apply textures like carbon fiber from 'the mad monk', Chrome like that of 'metro shift', or animated mist effects like those on 'gambit emerald' and 'copper brand'.

32 RepliesNo. Because shaders aren't just limited to armor like they were in Destiny 1. Destiny 2 shaders can be put on anything, and all black shaders can black out things....make them impossible to see....and (on armor) can give an unfair advantage in PVP.

6 RepliesWe need more solid colour shaders.. Its not too hard to do surely? They would only need one of each basic colour. Also stop putting trash textures on the decent shaders. We have a handful of decent colour combinations but they have some sort of texture like carbon effect, itchy blanket wool effect, scuffed to hell and back or I don't even know what to call the texture on the Black Armory shaders.

I'd like superblack and vena cava back

5 RepliesAbysinian gold. Shrouded stripes. Amethyst veil. Metro shift. Fashion youtubers.

Bungie see this topic and is like 'rofl - makes more pink shaders'

2 RepliesEdited by GMDeece7: 9/21/2021 8:36:17 PMWe still have the toothbrush from one of the festival’s of the lost. I can GUARANTEE that it’s going to be the same freaking joke as in destiny 1. You get a pure black shader after turning in the raisins after holding onto it for so long. Granted, I have no idea how long Bungie will want to keep this joke going. There’s no guarantee it will be able to be turned in in this season’s festival of the lost.

It's true that really what we need is a palette and texture mapping option. But content is hard so *shrug*
-
This has been asked million times and its obvious already that bungie is not going to do this. There just cant be fully black shader, must always have blue or something crap with it.
-
Hell bungie could make it like Warframe where you can edit the colors of everything, and with that people would be very happy because you could make your guardian look exactly the way you want and not limit us to use shitty looking shaders which make up 90%of the shaders.
-
THIS!!! We got like 4 pretty much all white shaders while the black ones all have stark contrast colors in them like bronze/gold/red/purple etc. Black shaders matter !

1 ReplyIf i want to be honest, im not against this, but i really dont like shaders with just one color. They are just boring to me.

Edited by Infamous067: 9/21/2021 3:05:36 AMA color pallet system please! I want an all black shader with red glow to match my siva look and my outbreak perfected. So far the only thing allowing me to have a red glow while wearing all black is going flawless each weekend with that emblem.
