Battleye is timing out . 'Query Timeout' and Code: Plum

I am still being disconnected from battleye. I am still receiving a 'Query Timeout' and then either a code plum or code weasel. I have NO CHEAT programs. I have reinstalled windows 10 once and fully updated it. I downloaded and reinstalled Destiny 2 a few times now. I deleted and reinstalled Batteye several times and verified my files numerous times. My drivers are up to date. I have let batteye files through my firewall. Every once in a while I CAN play uninterrupted without problems. It is very rare about once a week that I can play properly. My wife is on the same network and plays Destiny 2 , has no problem logging into and out of the game. She enjoys the game, I can not. Why is this happening Bungie? Can someone address this and at least acknowledge that this is a problem. I would like to return to playing Destiny 2 ASAP. Please someone help ! Edit: I can play for 10 minutes at a time but then get kicked. I can rejoin as if nothing happened. 10 minutes is all I got. Update: I did nothing 9/16 , 4:45 PM EST I have been playing with no problems. I don't understand. I hold no faith that I'll be able to play later but am enjoying the time I have. Update: 9/17 9:51 I have been playing still without interruption. I haven't turned off my PC since yesterday, haven't updated anything at all, I am afraid if I update or turn off my PC I won't be able to play . Am I ok ? I need a Bungie mod to help! Update: 9/18 as of 1:46 I can no longer play Destiny 2. I am AGAIN receiving 'Query Timeout' from Batteye and Code : Plum from Bungie. I have NOT changed anything. THE only thing I did differently was I shut down my PC. That is it! I was able to complete the Ager's Scepter exotic quest line WITHOUT disconnection or interruption. I am not back to having connection problems. Please can someone address that this IS a problem and needs to be looked into and until a solution is found. Update: 9/19 8:47 AM EST I can play again... This morning I wrote a post stating that I was receiving Code: Plum and Weasel and all that. All I did since my first post and now was give my PC a restart. I am going to enjoy play Destiny 2 this morning and will report later if it is or isn't working. BUNGIE please help! I've been trying to document this problem for someone to see. I will leave more information if needed. This is a battleye problem! Update: 9/19 9:22 PM EST, I can no longer play. I have done nothing different on my pc. I walked away after my initial play session this morning and ran some errands. I decided to play again and all I did was start up Destiny 2 . I was in orbit about the usual 10 minutes before 'Querry Timeout' happened again. Why is it I can play for hours in one part of the day then at night it's I can not? NO, it is not my ISP. The times that I have been able to play are seemingly random. Also, my wife plays on the same network without interruption. Can someone please help?! ... I will continue to update until Bungie addresses this issue. update 9/20 Couldnt play at all . all plums. I am buying new network cable just in case that is the problem. Waiting on Amazon. Update 9/21 10:45 AM EST, Its all plums again. I am still waiting on a network cable to see if this is a physical problem or not. I really wish I could play when I want to and NOT when battleye works. Update: 9/21 10:00 PM EST. I decided to try Destiny 2 again after Stream servers was goofing up. After I reconnected to steam, I gave Destiny 2 a shot. I have not been Disconnected and now enjoying the game. I don't understand. Update: 9/22 8:49 AM EST, Started up Destiny 2 just fine. No error codes so far.

  • FWIW I seem to have resolved my BattlEye timeout issue. It was a conflict between BattlEye and my antivirus software. I whitelisted the BattelEye service and I haven't had a problem since.

  • This isn’t a blizzard issue. Also you said your wife plays with no issues so I’m assuming she’s on another PC. What programs do you run on your pc that is different from hers?

      • Its a f**king bungo and the anticheat problem. I got banned because of this in pvp matches for "unstable" connection even if im wired and have no issues in other games. They better optimize this. Especially lenovo machines, battleye update just affected these machine's in the aspect of the "Network Boost" To all who are using lenovo machines. Disable the Network Boost in lenovo vantage, your experience may be x10 better, if you only experienced connection issues frequently this season, the anticheat and the network boost is one of the reasons because the anticheat thinks its a threat of somewhat and will make your connection unstable. Also disable vpn for the same reasons Disable other games anticheat riot vanguard etc. Battleye thinks its a hack you have for D2 which is bullcrap, and try to reinstall the anticheat through steam game files. If you dont have a lenovo machine, most importantly is to disable any network boosting of some sort because of the anticheat. Please bungie optimize and fix this its causing unwanted problems for innocent people

      • I have the same exact problem, i came back this season to play again and this happen. All the time getting "currant" "anteatear" "beet" "plum" "beaver" "bee" errors things when i played before didnt happen at all and i play a lot of different games is just destiny that got me problems. The only thing is new is that external software battle eye i think that is causing me problem. Hope this is getting fix soon.
