Error Code Weasel

-Back online now! No more Weasel! Found a really neat fix! If you have a blocked players list, empty it!!!!!

Last night, I was in orbit, matchmaking in to PvP with my clan.
Was booted to the home screen, and given an error code Weasel.
I spent well over 2 hours trying all the tricks in the book, before realizing there was zero issue with my internet, and console. At that point, it settled in that I wasn't getting back online that day. So I shut everything down.
Here we are. It's been 10 hours now, and I still cannot log in, and am STILL being given error code Weasel.
I even tried my husband's console. I cant log in there, either.
So......what's a good fix for an "endless cycle" of Weasel error codes?

1 Reply[quote]Error Code: WEASEL Cross Save: Cross Save does NOT cause WEASEL errors. Players who attempt to log in to multiple platforms simultaneously while Cross Save is enabled on their account will receive a WEASEL error on which ever platform they logged in on first. Destiny Bans: If a player is in an activity when a ban is applied to their account, they will be returned to the title screen with a WEASEL error. This specific WEASEL error is a result of, not the cause of, their Destiny ban. For more information on Destiny bans, please see: DESTINY ACCOUNT RESTRICTIONS AND BANNING POLICIES WEASEL is a split-off error that was previously grouped under CENTIPEDE. This split helps expedite investigations and fixes and will be easier to understand the specific issue the player is experiencing. Before proceeding any further, we strongly recommend switching from WiFi to a wired connection, at least temporarily. This is an important first troubleshooting step to rule out WiFi signal strength/stability as a possible culprit. If you are repeatedly experiencing this error code, please follow our Network Troubleshooting Guide. If you've experienced this error code and you can no longer launch Destiny, please power cycle your console.
