The Corrupted is the worst experience in this game
Its just not fun in the slightest every encounter is made to piss you off. the efforts the strike goes to boop you off the edge at every moment is infuriating and on top of that its full of taken that are just horrible as is and then on top of that you have a boss that constantly regens a shield that no body has a clue how to take down and this happens multiple times... the design in this strike is terrible just remove it and not a single person will miss it
Also as a after thought has anyone had any night fall weapons drop yet? Ran it a number of times and yet to see one

Tiny platform, boss health is ridiculous, boss shield to block/slam, slowing orb ability, constant eye spawns, constant knock off, large group spawn of taken goblins that immune everything, and two spam cram space jam wizards at the end just to push your junk in for the win...why Bungie? Just why? Edit: I've had some time to cool off, but I DEFINITELY think that this quest/mission needs to be revisited...just TOO much going on here for what it's worth.

Remove the boss pushing you outward and just upward with more damage. Also in the elevator platform part have the round side rails be higher so the taken phalanx can't do the cheap shield bash you off the platform. Bounced of the map shouldn't be the main reason players are killed in a strike or mission. It's cheap and poorly designed.

I land my ROFLCOPTER when the Corrupted is the NF or when it's the selected strike. Then I just drop from party and soi soi soi soi soi myself outta there. No harm done. 👍 👎 👍 👎 👍 👎

Oh and the boss doing her force push attack when you're behind cover is BS!

Its one of the better strikes though. As a nightfall its pretty bad. And you can 1 shot the boss after lowering the shield with nova/celestial or thundycrash.

4 Repliesi tried one 1290 run earlier. the nightfall is fine honestly. the issue is the players, i was crying of laughter when i saw how my 2 mates were playing XD also, bungo should definitely add a pop up message when you pick up a corrupted orb, so people will understand what they do XD

My biggest gripe with the strike is how laggy it is, every 5 minutes it seems my weapons do that invisible gun glitch, and did you know when that happens with Vex it changes back to a regular burst fire fusion rifle? It’s infuriating

2 RepliesI don't particularly like this strike either, but once you understand the mechanics its not that bad. Equip glide for strong directional control and if she is going to boop you off, jump in the air. You have enough control to bring yourself back. Once you figure this out it makes her easy to fight

I have to use well of radiance for Exodus Crash to complete it on Master Level. I use Top Tree Dawn Blade for Master Corrupted Strike. Exodus Crash is way harder to survive as a GM for me than Corrupted.

Someone hasnt played gambit, done the grandmaster Battlegrounds strike, or attempted the grandmaster glassway strike back when it first came out with no seasonal mods to buff certain weapon types.

Grandmaster nightfalls are the worst. Slow, boring, and tedious for mediocre adept mods and weapons. So much fun. No thanks.

It's the worst. Just tried NF again.....forget it. Not worth it.....zero fun, just pure hell. Skipping it this week. I usually back right out of that strike if I get it.....not going to waste anymore time on the Nightfall version.

The regular Corrupted strike caused some messaging to me from a raged player who thought I should have tossed it the ball. I assured it that it was not necessary and I didn't care about his issue with my ball hogging slogging. However, on heroic or above Nightfall, charging the ball is absolutely necessary and I wish I could get that kid back and have him yell at a few of the folks that toss the ball over and over again and have their back to me constantly while I try and throw them the ball. Worse, they catch it and toss in away. Oh well, I'm used to just watching now, one more rank and done. Champions? what are those? Never see gold let alone platinum.
