Strike Playlist bosses need more health!

I shouldn’t be hitting a boss one time and putting it into its invulnerability phase! I’m not even using giant damage buffs either! Strike playlist bosses could use like literally 10x more health than what they have at the moment so they aren’t dying before they can even do anything. It’s not satisfying one shotting bosses after doing it every strike. Bosses don’t feel like bosses right now! Edit: judging from half the replies this community is full of idiots

    This is why they have phases. I mean regardless, people will find a way to destroy strike bosses in record time. I would rather have strike bosses who can counter some if our attacks, have better AI reaction. For example, if I’m about to shoot a golden gun at him while he is not stunned, he can dodge it or if you’re using a sword, he can potentially counter it and grab you and do a body slam. Put a little more mechanics ( not puzzles) and strategies to fighting bosses. Make them like rpg bosses, where they have super moves/special moves. All bosses just act like tanks and just take hits and stomps when you get close. Wish they have better grabbing counters. Imagine if atheon shoot a beam and put you into a detainment bubble, then straight up go and kick the bubble with you in it like a damn soccer ball?

  • They need to be reworked so theyre fun in general i only run night falls because its so bloody tedious

      Nah I prefer strikes playlist bosses as they are. It’s a casual mode, so I’m not interested in fighting bullet sponge Strike bosses. Higher level Nightfalls and/or GM nightfalls are the place to go for bosses with more health.

      • I remember good old Valus Ta'aurc who was just a tank for a boss and it was fun. Personally, I love having bosses that are pretty tanky it makes the experience more enjoyable. The phases and them going immune is not fun at all... just annoying in my opinion. I'm not saying to make them like a 20 minute encounter, but I agree that Bosses should not be a one hit kill either.

        • That's what Nightfalls are for. Strikes are that one opportunity to feel OP in this game. So what if you can kill a strike boss with a single KICK TO THE FACE WITH PEREGRINE GREAVES!!!!! (caps for enthusiasm and drama)

          • Yes please. Fighting kruutiks in astral alignment feels good because its not just an annoying immunity phase with melting in between. There's a good number of adds and the copy mechanic keeps you going until next damage phase. Strike bosses should be like this but have unique mechanics that are easy to figure out.

            • Me with Thundercrash and Falling Star. I use a super and kill it without a single bullet. What's the point? The boss is one super and done as if they are a thrall. I agree with you 100%. Make bosses feel like bosses.

              • Nah if anything immunity phases need to be removed. They're strikes, they're meant to be easily ran speedran content. Not challenging. If you want challenging the Nightfall, dungeon or raid are all available

              • Best way to sort it is to light lock strikes like they used to 1100 regular strikes from the world map destinations 1260 to enter the playlist strikes 1300 to enter nightfall strikes Blue drops for regular strikes Legend drops only from playlist strikes Powerful drops/pinnacle drops/ exotics from nightfalls
