Impulse Amplifier on bows
is it worth it? the only thing I can find is that it increases the velocity of partially draw shots yet it is the second most recommended perk.

You ready another arrow faster as well (that's considered reloading). This and the velocity increase you mentioned help lower the ttk for bows it can roll on. I highly recommend the perk myself. My ideal wolftone draw would let me switch between it and shoot to loot (tier 3 focusing).
