This is the worst strike in the game, and then it gets worse as a nightfall. It genuinely feels like a dungeon with terrible loot incentive. It is horribly designed and balanced and feels like two raid encounters. Why on earth would you buff the knockback and aoe effects when you have barely anywhere to stand already, not to mention the million ads with very little cover? You can’t play this strike without a sword and/or being on Hunter, because the other two classes can do little to nothing when they get blasted into infinity. I’m sorry, this was terribly designed, terribly balanced, and my ears will forever be haunted by those stupid laughs, not to mention wanting to kill who we’re supposed to save without really feeling any reason to save her.

1 ReplyJust the regular strike is annoying enough, almost everyone quits as soon as they see they landed in Corrupted. Nightfall has champions falling off ledges so getting Platinum is iffy at best. Bungie knows everyone hates this strike, that’s why they tied a weekly challenge to it. That’s how they roll.
-
I would usually take a day each week & jus grind the NF with different load outs, weapons, builds etc for prisms & weapons etc But the last two weeks? Noooooooooo 🙃 Exodus boss room is fiddly & kinda aggravating if one Guardian goes down, but Corrupted is jus a janky mess. Between the ball charging, hiding champions & that Xol damn boop, it can go from a fun strike to a patience shredding -blam!--up cascade* *Copyright of Zero Punctuation

4 RepliesThe most annoying thing about the strike are the blueberries who don't understand passing the ball.
-
1 ReplyEdited by シOblivionシ: 9/17/2021 6:20:23 AMThe nf is ok the problem is the blueberries that want to speed run it and don’t know the mechanics. I agree that the mod for blowing you off the map is ott but funny as hell. I spent most of one game dead because of it.

If they could just fix Sedia's knockback to not go through the damn walls then that's all I'd ask
-
1 ReplyI think it’s one of the better strikes. Just sucks playing with randies and the current super physics modifier is annoying
-
This strike was cool during Forsaken. Now I never want to play it ever again. They have tons of strikes in that DCV of theirs, anything but Exodus Crash and the Corrupted. Bring back the summoning pits strike on the moon it was one of my all time favorites. I love phogoth

1 Reply"Worst strike in the game" Exodus Crash was the nightfall last week but go off then
-
8 RepliesIt's heavily bugged too. One of the champions doesn't spawn and you only get like 3 seconds to dps her. Something is not right.
No Idea what you mean with "Needing a Sword" top Tree Solar Fokus Warlock can easy use Dodge to stop the Back throw. No Idea with Titan. Further more, The Corrupted and Nightfall: The Curropted are easily one of my more Favorite Strikes and NIghtfalls. Gives you Experience to be more careful, and get a feel for Raid and Dungeonb without the Pressure. Also, the Trick to stop Sidia's barrier from getting back up, is to have one Team Mate constantly throwing those "Balls". A friend of mine and a Random did the Nightfall, 9only on Hero Difficulty for the Weekly loot, but that worked like a Charm. I Play Warlock Main, and aside from Prophecies, Raids and Higher level Dungeons I can pretty much Solo most of the rest Content. The Corrupted doesn't need a nerf, you just need a bit patients and possible one or 2 friends / Clanmates to run it with, make it a lot easier.

I have no idea how to play that strike. I CAN'T WAIT TO PLAY IT UNDER LEVEL ON NIGHT FALL!
-
1 ReplyNever liked Corrupted as a nightfall. GM Nightfall will be a nightmare.

Edited by Auronio: 9/16/2021 7:59:48 PMMost often Lion Rampant on my Titan cause jumping and cause small chance flying back when being stomped away. If only these flying rocks were not in my way...
-
Yeah, this nightfall is definitely worse than it's ever been before this season. Had to reload 3 times before we got the prompt to start the elevator to appear... and the boss goes immune so quickly after breaking the shield, but the shield itself does not appear on her until much later. Things that have never before been an issue are suddenly broken. Guess that is Bungie's strong suit huh.

14 RepliesAm I the only one who's enjoying reading peoples' impressions of it?
-
1 ReplyAnyone else get mad stutters and frame drops right at the start of the strike?
-
2 RepliesIs it me or do these "techeuns" or however you spell them...basically the strike boss....say "birthday boy" from time to time? I swear im losing my mind.
-
1 ReplyLol what?! Easily my favorite. The bugs are annoying but I don’t have a problem with the nf
-
5 RepliesLet’s not forget the broken rewards. Light level 0 horror’s least dropping, no platinum despite killing all champions which then bugs the loot drops. I did my 100k and not going back
-
Yeah I'm skipping this week's Nightfall, I'd rather deal with either In Ananh or the Wizard in Scarlet Keep I love the environment of The Corrupted but Sedia and Taken are freaking annoying to deal with

Passing on nfs this week

1 Reply‘Hero nightfall’ livestock moment
