Please adjust the shard economy in trials, it's way too high.
100 Legendary Shards to focus a regular engram and 250 for an adept engram is insane.,especially since you have a 50,000 glimmer cost as well.
I was so focused on the glimmer cost I didn't notice the legendary shard cost until I spent 4,000 Shards.
You just did a terrific job revamping trials and making it fun again, but this shared cost isn't sustainable for the long term.

It isnt supposed to be fun, only thing bungie as a company cares about is revenue and playtime. Longer you keep farming -blam!- the better it is.

12 RepliesStrimmers have 50k+ shards, so it’s okay.

I have enough shards NOW. But it literally eats your hard earned mats, so i agree its a scam long term. Exclusively designed to make us get rid of our pile of shards. I burned through 7k legendary shards after 1 weekend. In 4 years of playing, i piled up 35k shards. That tells you a lot lol.

lol atleast we finally have a place to spend them.

Was excited to take my son into trials with the rework and get him some gears. He just started playing not long ago. He doesn’t have enough shards or can’t get enough being in school still. Agreed lower the cost significantly…

Agree, it's overly excessive and basically locks out every one but the harder core from the feature. Especially hurts since all the perk slots can now roll 7 different perks

1 ReplyCan anyone spare afew shards

I’d say 250 is good for focusing an adept but 100 for the regular ones is a bit rough.
-
1 ReplyDo it at the cryptarch you get so many engrams why focus them all
-
Drop shards after games

1 ReplyI have 24k legendary shards. It's good to burn some stuff we never use anyway.

Edited by Grim1Citizen: 9/15/2021 4:21:01 PMI thought that price is a bit excessive too, should be at least halved

I played almost 100 games most of which were post flawless and engrams while dropping weren’t dropping at a rate you could keep focusing them. I guess we might not be intended too but 100-250 isn’t realistic for The overwhelming majority of the community. 10-30 for non adept and adept could be 50 since those buying them probably won’t buy many anyways. Perk pools for trials guns if I remember right are slightly larger than average weapon pools but cost substantially more. I like that a god roll feels valuable from trials but it shouldn’t be easier to farm adept ones then focus non adept ones

3 RepliesShould be relatively cheap or even free to focus the trials engrams seeing as there’s no option to just open them. You have to actually pick the gun you want, which is a great concept don’t get me wrong but they should either lessen the cost or make it so that you don’t always have to focus the engrams

19336 and not streaming 😂
