Dead man's tale needs a buff on console.
The times i see dmt on console is slim to none, it sucks in the current meta, while vex got the buff of a life time and is one of the, if not the best weapons at the moment.
And nerf chaperone aim assist while youre at it. And i know dmt was kinda op on mouse and keyboard, but they can adjust dmt on console.
It plain sucks, give it crazy hip fire aim assist buff(not like last word) and reduce the range by a lot, heck remove the fact it shoots faster while hipfire and boom you have a better version of the weapon.
Its so hard to use it because half the time while you hipfire, it dosent proc. Idk if they nerfed it or what but it feels a lot worse than it did before, i would know since i have 2000+ kills with it in crucible
I love tex mechanica weapons and its a shame that another tex mechanica weapon is going down the drain, first it was prospector now its dmt.

5 RepliesIt got nerfed too hard. They said they were trying to not break it for console but they did. I haven’t touched it since I tested it after the nerf.

I wouldn't go that far to buff the gun. Dmt requires a simple fix on console.......a better hip fire crosshair and better it reg. That is all it needs to be viable.

1 ReplyEdited by Talia Sendua: 9/15/2021 3:26:32 PMI am a dead mans tale player and I disagree. It is in a good spot, not too strong, not too weak. If you try to play DMT like Last Word, you are doing it completely wrong. It is an ADS weapon with Hipfire bonuses for critical situations.

3 Repliesreduce the range to what? it’s a scout so it pretty much shoots across any map without major damage drop off. imo you’re better off using TLW with lucky pants. you’ll thank me later.

DMT is, above all else, a Scout Rifle. That there's yer problem.
