hotfix (9/16) .........my god you had to just take a prerequisite of the exotic mission since it is so difficult to arrange the mission Tracing the Stars II, now we have to wait another week for the next hotfix and hope it gets fixed ? I just need aphelion's rest atlas.......

Same problem, literally just keeps getting ignored. We get redirected to known issues but it only says tracing the stars part one now. So what we have to wait longer for part 2 fix?

New hotfix (9/16) for some useless things, keep up the hard work of ignoring the real issues and paying customers. Plenty of new games coming out soon that'll be better worth my time and money.

Seems like a pretty straight forward fix. Allow players to pick up the quest without requiring tracing the stars completion.

so you/BUNGIE have FIVE days tops to get this fixed, as physical bungie reward (beanie) says this quest and the new exotic quest must be completed/claimed by SEPTEMBER 21. I want to buy the reward and I want my new exotic that we btw are PAYING FOR! it burns me up that when there is something in the game that players can get more loot or do more damage or can gain an advantage, you take care of those things like RIGHT NOW, but things like this quest being broken take a back burner , it feels like WHO CARES is what we get from Bungie. There are a lot of PAYING players left out in the bitter cold, this is week 4 and you have known this quest line to be messed up since then , so I actually will be shocked if this gets fixed in next 5 days. It seems to be assumed that its all user error but , personally I picked up the quest on all 3 characters and once I finished week 1 the quest was removed by Bungie from 2 characters I surely did not abandon the quest. no clue why it was simply an account quest and the only way the quest would have broken was if a paying player would have abandoned the quest. FIX IT NOW!

+1 for me. Stuck on Tracing the Stars II - can’t get one of the skews collected by a character that didn’t have the quest to respawn or be recognized as collected by the quest. Have tried variously deleting and reacquiring the quest across all characters and no fix. Please fix this, Bungie.

Same for me. Bungie should have warned not to continue the Skews quest with a different character.

You have been aware and ignoring the issue for 3 weeks and roll out the final step and exotic reward without any fix... Refunded witch queen pre-order til you give us what we already paid for and stop lying about investigating a well known established and documented issue that grew even larger in significance since this week.

https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/259669290 same and what really gets me is if someone can use something for an advantage in the game they fix those things RIGHT NOW. , quest broken, people can't do a weekly activity that allows you to start a NEW exotic quest , WHO CARES. disgusting, and don't forget its part of the PAID content.

Also, this issue is not on the "list of known issues" for the next 2 hot fixes that are currently scheduled for this thursday and next.

I'm having this same problem ten of week 2 is it so hard to fix this problem? Wouldn't it be just restart the whole mission when it is abandoned?
