Verify integrity of game files error since new season started

I keep getting this error. I have done all the googling, and tried all the things. I verified game files like it says, and it always says it found no issues. I deleted specific files based on crash logs, then verified game files in Steam, and had it reinstall them. I completely uninstalled Destiny, cleared Steam cache, and downloaded the entire game from scratch. Still get the error. Sometimes after 12 hours, sometimes after 5 minutes. Sometimes in Gambit (which makes Drifter angry) and other times when en route to somewhere like the Tower. I also wish these forums were searchable so I could see if anyone else is still having this issue, and maybe has found a new resolution, or if this is just a weird thing that I'm experiencing 2 years after everyone else.

  • I happened to find a different forum topic that bubbled to the top with a mention of running dxdiag and I found most of the problem signatures had to do with GameManagerService.exe which is not a very useful name for Razer Cortex service. I don't actually use it, just auto installed with Synapse, so I uninstalled that junk and will see if it helps. Adding the note in case others are having similar issues.
