I wouldn’t want to replace grind with grind. Like I’m a little done so to me any new systems need to take minimal and I mean it minimal investment. I want the reward to be double or triple what I put in. There have been way too many layers of rng for so long that I have no desire to grind at all. Like I don’t feel like anything’s an actual reward anymore no piece of gear is special because I went months without it or it’s just meager gains for weeks of trying. Like if I couldn’t chase vex mytho for months because it’s just work after a certain point and at some point I’ll get a paycheck that will eventually be made obsolete with the next meta.

So basically you are tired of playing the game? I mean come on you’re complaining that they don’t just automatically give you all the stuff you need at the start of every season. From your perspective maybe they should give everyone the new exotic raid weapon just for joining the raid, or a flawless trials run just for playing a round in trials regardless of the outcome. If you don’t want to put in the work of grinding don’t play an RPG. This may be the dumbest complaint I’ve ever heard. Also on a side note, if you run 3 characters of different classes and do all their pinnacles while trading the highest light weapons between characters you can easily get to max rank by 4 or 5 weeks, for the last 3 seasons I’ve been max pinnacle level in 2-3 weeks from the start of the season on at least one character if not all. This game is a grind though so if you don’t want to put in the grind I’d say play a different game because that is one thing that hasn’t changed in years and probably never will.
