so, it is now much easier to get engrams in Trials now, I agree. But that does not mean, that it is more rewarding. I would be, if not RNG'sus burned it to the ground...
When I played 2-3 hours as a casual-PvP to finally get a 3 win loot last season, and this drop was a good roll, that was rewarding. Now, I played 60+ matches, turned in 25+ engrams for a Reed's Regret and did not get one single role that was worth keeping... Sorry, but that was NOT rewarding, because I played 8-10 hours and still have nothing...
Rewarding is not about the quantity of the loot, but the quality!!
1% drop chance for a weapon with a guaranteed god role or a known fix role is better, than an evertime drop of a weapon, where the god roll is one out of hundreds of different possible combination, which is stastistically much worse than 1%...
To make it real rewarding, Bungie has to reduce the perk pool or let us influence the role that we get in any way. Because at the end, any drop that is not a god role is as good as no drop... Thats true btw for all activities, not just for Trials. Only the roll decides, if a drop is a reward or a slap in the face...
update: over 100 matches now, 30+ engrams for Reed's Regret, still no god roll.... nice Bungie...

Ive gotten a God roll for almost every weapon first try and full armor out of only 10 engrams. Can't get a vex but this time rng blesses me.
