Cobalt clash shader not collected.
Just went flawless and didn't receive the cobalt clash shader. Is this a bug or do I have to do something specific?

The last 2 season's or so Bungie has done this real -blam!- thing where randomly flawless items from the chest (not the Adept weapon's) will MAYBE drop with the shader. So THIS could be the 3rd shader they're doing this -blam!- -blam!- thing with. However, the difference with this shader and the other is that this one shows up in collections whereas the other 2 never did. So the confusing situation at this point is, is it a bug that it's supposed to be dropping and isn't or is it a bug that it's showing in collections when it shouldn't if we cannot truly obtain it. Bungie NEEDS to stop this stupid thing of not allowing player's who go flawless show off that shader on ALL item's. If I can rep my flawless raid shaders, I should clearly be able to rep my flawless Trials shaders. Having them handcuffed to random flawless iteams literally makes NO DAMN SENSE!!

I believe it’s like the Season of the Chosen flawless shader, no matter how many items with it you dismantled or how many times you went flawless, you are unable to get the shader, it is EXCLUSIVE to gear gained from going flawless Note - Someone in the comments was being bullied fro this but as a player with multiple years of experience and is a sucker for shaders, it was a saddening experience to know that there was a shader I just could not get and it’s sad that others aren’t willing to accept that

If it's a choice that you can only have it on trials gear that drops from the flawless chest I hope they change it. Let us flex flawless trials like we can flex flawless raids.

Under Collections it says its a drop from Flawless. I would assume it's a Random Drop.

21 RepliesEdited by The-IIID-Emp1r3: 9/10/2021 9:34:03 PMNot a bug, it's like the previous flawless shader, it can only be on trials loot but if you remove it from the armor (or weapons too iirc) you cannot put it back on and it does not show up as a selectable shader to apply on other gear. Blame bungie. It's what they also did for that exotic ship last xmas, shader was exclusive to it

Edited by Olórin: 9/10/2021 11:06:52 PMJust got an Igneous Hammer drop from my second season 15 Flawless run today, it had this shader on it but i had no reason to Dismantle it. From my understanding, the shader is like the Vizier Regalia shader, i have one on a Messenger pulse, if you attempt to dismantle a weapon with this shader on it will not drop for you as a collection shader. I dont see why we cant just grab these shaders tbh, they wont harm anyone and the Vizier Regalia looks pretty sick imo.
