Reminder that Crucible Matchmaking is Garbage
Bungie, please implement some form of solo matchmaking with skill-based matchups for solo players. Going on your own and matching with teams of players with 1.5+ KDs is insufferable for anyone trying to learn PVP or just get some kills. Countless times I spawn in just to die to a super, heavy, teamshotting, or just some superskilled player farming less skilled players for sport. Players deserve the chance to play against other players their skill grade; going into every gunfight to fail is discouraging.
Lately, almost all of my forays into Crucible have been losses across the board. The only time they aren't is when those superskilled players are on MY team, and then suddenly I see a win or two. My own contributions don't amount to -blam!- when the system actively works to pit me in impossible matches.

Why the -blam!- would I want to play a game where my options are either be cannon-fodder, get stomped and lose, or be cannon-fodder get stomped and win. I just want to play the game, with opponents I can actually kill. 90 % of my playtime is in crucible. The current state of Crucible matchmaking has made me play way less crucible, and Destiny as a result. I can't -blam!- wait for Halo Infinite!

Git gud On a serious note though, bungies lobby balancing algorithm is to blame. In a 12 person lobby bungie will team up #1 with #8-12 to play against #2-7 The result of which is exactly what you described. If bungie used the tried and true 1,4,6,8,10,12 vs 2,3,5,7,9,11 schoolyard balancing system you would actually see moderately fair individual matchups every game But alas they don’t want the #1 player to have a high win rate

3 RepliesYea D2 pvp is a joke, probably should just look into getting Halo infinite or another game if you want a good/balanced PVP experience. D2 pvp = shatterdive emulator

2 RepliesMate, you can't expect to win matches regularly if you're solo queueing all the time. Solo queueing is a pathway to a cauldron of mad guardians running and shooting. Get a team if you want to increase win count.
