This is for Bungie. I wont be discussing it just want the feedback noted by them.
I have 38 clears on VoG now, 36 of these being Vex drop chance clears and yet still no VeX I have a Clan m8 with max drop clears pretty much since the Raid came out and still no VeX.
Questions for Bungie.
1. Just how many times do you expect someone to complete this Raid to get access to content (Vex Mytho) that we have paid you for in advance?
2. Based on your answer to 1. above what exactly is happening here with the drop rate.
With it clearly being season for the fusion rifle right now this is getting more annoying for people who Raid and yet do not get the drop
Paul Tassi did an interesting article about this also, what is going on please.

Strange, but most PvP players get it on the first few tries.

I hope they fix this! I do not have as many clears as you but I still do not have a Vex either. I just did a raid with a guy who got one on his 5th clear! Total garbage

1 ReplyEdited by Lambshanks_OG: 9/13/2021 5:36:05 AMMy clan leader has over 230 full with the percentage of those being looted runs and still no Mythoclast. I kinda feel sorry for him. But he's persistent and will keep trying every week.

It took me 70 clears to get the eyes of tomorrow. This is the nature of RNG.

Edited by ЛовкийМорж: 9/8/2021 3:26:59 PMI totally agree with the author of this thread and with Paul Tassi: there should be something wrong with the Vex drop rate despite of the fact that similar story was experienced by other players with other raid exotics. The raid is still funny (38 Atheon clears), but not getting the Vex is really frustrating. After all if Bungie would give the Vex to all players I would be ok with that. Personally for me it's not about the raid anymore but about the gun. I.e. I like the raid regardless of not getting the Vex. But not getting the Vex is becoming to me a negtive part of the game. I think this game should not cause negative feelings. Thank You for Your attention.

Thanks for sharing the link to the article. I took a month off after 22 clears, and after coming back for two weeks (SIX) clears later a clan mate who's has less than 20 clears and has only completed it with me gets it TWICE on back to back runs earlier tonight. So, I,m at 0-28, and will likely not see that first digit change until Destiny 3 comes out. I'm a D1 player from the House of Wolves expansion, and unfortunately my insanity keeps me playing Destiny 2 and wasting my life trying to get this recycled weapon and raiding so others with less time and effort can get it dropped TWICE on back to back runs. I know how much they hate us players/gamers who've supported their efforts and work product, but what I don't know is how and why.

To add to the frustation, when other PVP focused clan mates run the raid 3-4 times and get it. Clearing it every week since the start and not getting it to drop just emphasises what a stupid RNG system the game is based on. We should be rewarded for the effort that is put in, not some random number.

2 RepliesTo address a point in your first question, you didn't pay anything for Vault of Glass. No one did, as Vault was released into Destiny 2 free for all players (see the Season of the Splicer page). Re: Drop rate - Bungie has historically not revealed the raid exotic drop rates and I do not expect them to start now. It is assumed to be about a 5% base drop chance. Pertaining Vex itself, it is unclear if it currently has bad luck protection. If it does, it would likely be similar to what is in place for Eyes of Tomorrow, which is a single increase per account per week. Again, the amount it goes up is unknown and likely will never be known. Assuming a 1% increase per week you would be looking at a max drop chance for players right now of about 24%. Because of this, it is statistically likely that players do not have the gun. Again, this is using assumed but entirely reasonable percentages. This is not the confirmed percentages for any of these. It is a raid exotic drop. It is suppose to be rare, to be hard to come by. I understand that it is frustrating seeing others playing with and using it and that you want it. Unfortunately that is the nature of rng and probability. Some times you get lucky and other times you don't. All you can really do is keep playing and it will drop eventually.
