First, let me start by saying that I have Vex Mythoclast. I got it my first run. Second, I feel genuinely bad for people who have run the raid countless (or in some cases counted) times and still can’t get it. I understand it’s “RNG”, but it’s absurd at this point with how many posts there are about this weapon. Please increase the percentage at which it drops so people don’t become discouraged and stop trying. Finally, it is a viable, fun, strong option in PvE currently. Don’t ruin it for what I strongly feel, in my opinion, is the worst creation ever- PvP. I’m seeing a lot of posts to nerf it already, and we know how that bleeds into PvE. Have a good day!

They are just mad RNJesus hasn't blessed them.

I was lucky and got vex on my first run as well thank the maker. I was not so lucky with 1k voices which I just got last week finally after years of trying

2 RepliesMe too, I just pop in to say it’s such a good gun then leave hehehehe!
-
Also absurd how many players complain about how op it is. It’s not op, it’s just really good.

Wont create a new post , but the drop rates need to be increased. I have no problems running a raid x amount of times - i enjoy raiding but at one point it becomes a chore , not for pinnacles not for rolls , just for one weapon you have to turn on the game and do raids either on lfg or with a clan (which no one from my clan wants to do really because they have everything from the raid, and lfg can be painfull) I would like for them to make raid exotics quest based same as divinity- it would still require raid completeions or something or flawless or anything related to raids, pvp, pve or mix and mach from everything but it would be a quest in your inventory that you can claim and get it. Lets say complete raid 10 times , get x amount of kills with (insert gun here) in gambit, cruicible,nf or strikes. Something that makes me play the game more than 2-3 hours for raids and bad RNG and drop rates . It hinders some players from doing other activities as well in some cases- LF GM NF bring anarchy or divinity ,and if you dont have the gun you get locked out in many lfg groups PS. As of now i am sitting on 51 looted clears and nothing , DSC took me 60 i think. This discourages me to even play destiny at this point in time. The raid exotic system has to be remade.

I've accepted that vex isn't real and can hurt me
-
I have a max ranged chrysura melo. Out ranges vex. Used it in PvP last night. It competes with vex users.
-
I'm tired of the posts cause for it not to be dropping, I sure do face a lot of them in pvp lol.

Destiny is destiny regardless of PvE and PvP and if a weapons needs balancing then it will get it. Nerfs happen to guns on both spectrums and I don’t like the us vs them attitude of players who only players one or two aspects of this game. I also agree that I’m tired of hearing these posts. I got this and 1k really fast but Anarchy took me over 40 attempts and Eyes still hasn’t dropped for me after 30+. I’m not complaining, I’m simply stating that RNG sometimes benefits you and sometimes it doesn’t. Bad luck protection is implemented on all raid exotics from what I gather and if it isn’t then it should be.
-
I think going forward if we have rng raid exotics the increasing drop chance per looted clear should be a thing. But alternatively we move raid exotics to skill requiring challenges like master challenge mode clears that unlocked found verdict, maybe that should have been vex instead. Not hard for raiders and not unfair given it’s current power

Only ran Vog twice, didn't get Vex, couldn't give a -blam!-!

4 RepliesEdited by name: 9/9/2021 12:58:27 PMwell, a vex need to be earned , all the xurners that are whining its not for sale in xur shop just need to git gud lol

Thank you for saying this. I thought this post was going to be shitting on us vexless raiders, but after reading it through, i really appreciate the support. Thank you ,kind Guardian ✌

7 RepliesIt will be nerfed because of it honestly. I can see why you don’t care . Seeing you got it on your first run lol . But I don’t want it nerfed either

Please increase the percentage at which it drops so people don’t become discouraged and stop trying.
No, as this will lead to over-saturation in the crucible and eventual nerf. While it remains rare it serves its purpose. A great item to chase that has strong benefits in gameplay. I say this as someone that has owned a vex in D1, but not yet in D2 and I won't complain a single time if I never get it, yet stand by what I said above.

1 Replygreat, another drop vex not droping topic....
-
I almost thought you were going to tell people to just suck it up for a second, but I'm glad there's more and more who have Vex out there who aren't being elitists about it. With all the feedback about the drop rate, you'd think something would be even spoken about. A straight yes or no answer from Bungie really isn't too much to ask for. Will you increase drop rate? Y/N Of course I know *WHY* Bungie won't answer... because if the answer is no, people will rightfully demand to know why they refuse to budge on the topic. We all know why they might not budge as well of course but we want to hear them say it.

1 ReplyEdited by TNB719699: 9/9/2021 12:57:16 PMIt’s fine the way it is. If anything do it like they did DSC, if it doesn’t drop up to percentage until a certain threshold so that it’s easier to get

1 ReplyEdited by phantomhatch: 9/9/2021 2:20:33 PMWouldnt really be exotic if everyone has it. Drop rates are just fine. Didnt have a ghorn in d1 until xur sold it again 2 years after his first. 2 years of crying and these kids are crying over a couple months. Oh and then ghorn got nerfed 2 weeks later.

3 RepliesAt this point running vault and not getting vex is actually a complete waste of my time
-
Those people just need to git gud.
-
5 RepliesIt kinda needs a nerf in pve and pvp.
-
What bothers me the most about it is that out of the 6 people I run it with….1 of them has gotten it 3 times, 2 of them have gotten it twice. Pain.
-
In D1 I was unlucky and didn't get it until Rise of Iron. Never got the revamped version when it came back near the end of D1's life cycle. Come D2, I got it on my second run, and third run went for the catalyst. I see so many people upset that the drop rate is so low on the forums, but yet it's in every match I play of PvP- at least 1-3 people per lobby has it. Part of me wants to say "That's just RNG" cause that's how it's always been, and I'm just used to it at this point. All exotics tied to RNG were just "If you didn't get it... keep trying, RNG is RNG..." and I've become kinda numb to it. Me personally if an exotic never dropped, and if I kept dying to it- it was incentive to me to keep trying for it. Vex... Necrochasm... One Thousand Voices... Anarchy... Tarrabah... Eyes of Tomorrow... and now Vex again... I kept trying every time to get them, it kept me coming back and playing- hell I made a clan with friends cause we all wanted the same thing. I feel bad for those who run a raid 100+ times for the exotic and it not dropping, which is why I'm happy that the bad luck protection is even a thing now. Before they didn't and trying to get 1k or Anarchy... it was a nightmare. Part of me still thinks that people should accept that RNG exists- and you should just keep trying, it's in every online game, but maybe that's just me numb to the experience of playing MMO's and grinding- if it doesn't drop... you keep going back in and chasing for the drop. But again, maybe I'm just numb and been conditioned to keep playing a game until what I want drops after so many years of MMO's.

you get the cat for it yet? dude after a kill it gets better, like way
