51 Looted clears for Vault of Glass
No Vex mythoclast after 51 runs yet my friend gets it a 2nd time when he already has it? How is that fair bungie? There's no bad luck protection for this gun and for someone that genuinely loves this gun when it was pre buffed, saddens me. I don't have optimism anymore for the raid, its been gone for weeks when the new season started. I did this raid day 1 and I'm the only one out of my fireteam to get it and I'm a heavy fusion and auto rifle enthusiasts in crucible. Please Add BAD LUCK PROTECTION its been a whole season and more now....

Don’t think looted makes a difference, I got it to drop on my 5th atheon clear and it was a check point. Best of luck man.

Why do I need to grind for a gun that I already had in the previous game?

It looks like I've seen this before. It's all planned. Keep running the hamster wheel. Grind a 7 year old gun on a 7 year old activity they've made more than 7 years ago. In the meantime, some company are working on their newer projects and expanding offices while all this is going on. Imagine grinding a gun 7 years ago. And then you are still grinding the same gun 7 years later because it was specifically manipulated to entice you by buffing it 7 years later. Bwahahahahahaha!!! This looks like a precursor to a 7 year old gun that's also coming to the game soon, called the Gjallarhorn. And this one you have to pay for. And because it may be tied as an activity reward, maybe it could be under an RNG drop mechanic. And we all know RNG on this game is secretly manipulated, just like what's happening in the Mythoclast now. I'm gonna speculate maybe this is a precursor and will probably happen again when they roll out the recycled Gjally next. That seems to be the trend lately. And if it happens, it would be just enough to get you all to grind an 8 year old recycled Gjallarhorn for another year next year until you get to the next big installment again. I have a feeling the next raid or so may need some special rocket launcher on one of the bosses. Maybe a dungeon boss too, no? Hamster wheel baby!!! It's all planned! Bwahahahahahaha!!! Meanwhile in other news, it's still busy keeping up with other newer projects and expanding offices. Humorous at best!!! (Laughing on the floor!!!)

I have close to 50 fusions in my vault. I’m also a fusion rifle enthusiast. 49 clears in D1 without it and now 49 lootable clears in D2 without it. The best way to affect them is to stop playing unfortunately. You enjoy playing a game chasing weapons and the dumb best thing to do is to give up the game. Maybe we’ll get the gun a few months from now when we don’t play or care. By than I’ll be mad at the game and vested in another game. I’ve gone 7 yrs without ever getting this gun yet new play and players who have taken long breaks are getting it. It’s not rng.

I'm ok with really low RNG on raid exotics but at some point it needs to drop. Whether that's 20 runs or 30 runs.... Grinding out over 50 runs without it drop just wouldn't be fun at all. What's the point Bungie? We all love RNG but at some point the bad luck protection needs to be sensible. Currently it's not.

BLP has bren in. It's gonna take you about 70 runs to have an 80% drop chance. Its all RMG my guy

6 RepliesI’ve completed the raid 25 times (6 cheese clears with rest legit). On my first clear a buddy got it which was his third run. I got it on my third clear. I saw another person get it on my 17th clear. So out of 25 clears it’s only dropped 3 times. So 6 players multiplied by 25 clears is 150 RNG chances for Vex and only 3 times it dropped. That’s a low drop rate of what? 2%? I would imagine if you could recall how many times it dropped it would be under 5% and likely 2-3%. That’s stupidly low.

Got my 3rd Mythoclast within 30 runs. Took me 60 Runs to get Eyes of Tomorrow.
