Bad luck protection for nightfall weapons and lost sector exotics
Currently these both seem to be 100% rng, so why not add some level of bad luck protection?
For nightfall weapons the amount of protection could vary based on the difficulty. So adept could increase drops by 1% each time you dont get a weapon, hero could be 5%, legend 20%, master 50%, and GMs should be 100% regardless.
Legend lost sectors could increase odd by 10% per clear and master could increase by 15%.

8 RepliesD2 literally hand out exotics lol. The community wanted things to grind for, now you can grind for them and all of a sudden people don't want the grind anymore lol. Reading this post sounds a lot like, this game is too hard, can you make it easier for me? Its RNG for a reason. Those exotics and nightfall weapons weren't made exclusive to a certain activity for no reason lol. Ive literally got the Nightfall Weapon this week "Hothead" multiple times by simply playing the activity til I got it. Legend and Master Lost Sectors literally hand out an Exotic 25-50 percent of the time lol, if you want a tip on Lost Sectors... kill all the champs, and dont die. A Flawless Platinum Lost Sector run will earn you a better chance at an exotic armor piece than it would had you died at all

3 RepliesTbh the LS exotics should be changed from solo only to droppable with a group. Or introduce them to the world drops but at a lower rate than the LS does. Dealing with champions alone, while not impossible, feels like a chore if you do multiple runs.

3 RepliesNo. The game is supposed to be RNG based. Bad luck protection only applies to raid exotics because of the difficulty of the raid itself and because its an exotic. Removing the RNG side of the game literally makes the game unplayable just because after you get what you want you have zero desire to play the game anymore. The point to RNG in MMO's are to keep everyone playing the game.

C'mon. You need to get it just once. 10 maybe a little more runs in lost sector that can be completed under 6 minutes. Only third week started, there is 167 days to get it.

I've had good luck with LLS recently. Mask of Bakris in 5 runs and Curiass of the Falling Star on my first run. Now if only my luck extended towards that -blam!- Mythoclast

GM’s are going to be the big sad this season with 2 drops per week and I bet they didn’t buff drop rate which means we have half the chance we did last season of gun dropping at all down from about 1 in 3 to 1 in 6.
