I'm not going to do 200 gambit games and 100 nightfalls/200 strikes just for the Ascendancy ornaments
Making me have to reset my rank twice in each mode with the rep systems like they are now is going to take hundreds of hours. If you're going to lock it behind the rep system which you just made 5x more grindy in crucible and vanguard while also barely increasing rep gains if at all (I haven't compared) then why would anyone want to go for all the ornaments?
And yes, I know about streaks, but its still one hell of a grind not meant for casual players

Guess I’m a loser. Already reset all three to get the rocket launcher. And I have the crucible and gambit weapon ornaments. Just have the vanguard left. Waiting until double rewards for Nightfalls. Then I’ll have the vanguard weapon ornament.

4 RepliesHi there! Just wait for a week with double or triple reputation and grind that activity. It actually is way faster than the reputation system was before the rework. Example: You need 10k points to reset a rank. Running a strike f.e. gives you 60 points. Running a strike on a 5 streak gives you around 180 points. Running a nightfall on legend difficulty (highest difficulty for nightfalls that still have matchmaking) on a 5 streak gives you around 270 points. (These values are out of memorization and may vary a bit) All this is without double reputation and it's already not that slow to progress the reputation rank. Doubling these values may gives you an idea on how fast it actually is to max out the reputation and reset it.
