As the title suggests I have been experiencing a lot of game crashes and BSoD's since the update 2 weeks ago when battle eye was implemented.
I can bearly get through the seasonal activity without crashes and raid encounters are near impossible to complete without crashes let alone the entire raid.
I didnt have any issues during season and the splicer and previous seasons during Beyond Light, this has just started now.
Before anyone says "its the ram" I have run memory diagnostics and have 0 issues, i have checked the integrity of my SSD's and HDD's and have found no issues, I have verified the games files through steam and have found no issues.
The message usually associated with the BSoD is related to the Kernal, which to me would indicate that something operating at a kernal level is responsible for the problems, for example battle eye.
Now I am all for Bungie taking steps to sort out the PvP cheating problem but it it comprimises the integrity of the game to the point that it cant be played then I dont think it is an adequate solution.
I have seen numerous posts about BSoD in this game since the new season started, so it is clear there are other people having the same issues presumably for the same reason.

I seem to have done something that works - 12 hours in game and not a single crash.. I think there is something going on with the interaction between Battle Eye and other process that were running in the background on my PC. I did a lot of things in one go so I can't isolate what apparently did the trick: - Go into 'startup apps' and turn off everything that isn't absolutely necessary - Go into Settings > Background apps and toggle everything to off that does not need to be on (camera, calulator, cortana, xbox game bar etc.) I left Windows Security on. - Go into 'add or remove programs' and uninstall everything you don't use - Turn off VPN when gaming Basically I did everything I could short of a clean install. Hope this works for others too.

15 RepliesHi. Thanks for your report. The next time the game crashes, could you link me to your DxDiag? To find this information:
• Press (Windows Key + R) to bring up the Run dialog box, enter this command “dxdiag” without quotation marks. • Click on “Save all information”. • Copy the text and use a text dump website (i.e. PasteBin.com) to paste the information. Please don't use Google Drive. • Create a link and post it here.
Edited by Outcast_K9: 9/9/2021 9:12:10 PMSame thing is happening to me. The game will play for roughly 30 minutes then the whole computer freezes sound still works for about 30 seconds then nothing anymore and during that time i am unable to use my computer at all and I have to hard shut down the entire thing. It is only destiny that does this so I know its not my hardware. Just in case it was I updated all my drivers and bios and even redownloaded windows and it still crashed. To test even further if it was my hardware I ran doom eternal for about 2 hours playing the game at max graphics with ray tracing on and it did not crash and I was able to play lag less. I don't know what is causing this but I hope it gets fixed before witch queen. On a side not this was not happening before season of the lost... I would be able to play for entire days but after the second week of this current season I have barely been able to play the game at all.
