Vex Mythoclast drop rate changes when?
i've completed 48 weekly runs (all 3 characters) and still haven't gotten it, this is ridiculous im getting kept away from the title just because i cant get it, can we get atleast a look into the "bad luck protection system" or atleast add it if we dont have one becase im so sick of this and im not the only one talking about this many others are talking about if there is atleast a bad luck protection system and if its working properly, even worse for us without vex is that the weapon got buffed and we cant enjoy it because of stupid RNG, please bungie talk to us about the chance im begging you guys please.
EDIT: I managed to get it today at 51 runs, don't know how though

Where are all these 100+ completions and don’t have Vex coming from? You were disqualified from getting it at least 50 other attempts. It’s a you problem you overplayed outside of the weekly runs. Yes the RNG is awful but the entitlement of those 100+ players compared to others in their 30-50 attempts.

I personally haven’t seen it drop and I’ve done the raid every week since it launched. There’s about 40 of us in the clan and I can count the amount of people who have it on one hand. [b][i][u]ALL OF US DO THE RAID 3x A WEEK[/u][/i][/b] I’m not saying it should be guaranteed or anything like that, but damn. At least add bad luck protection or make the drop rate higher on masters. This is rough. Eyes of Tomorrow wasn’t even this bad

Same here. I thought they mentioned it in a twab they would fix the droprate. But i guess thats gonna happen in 2033..

I was lucky to get my Vex Mythoclast on my 16th or 17th run but when i hear that people have been running 48 times still not got Vex then I say their is a problem with the RNG algorithm

I'm writing a detailed piece about how to fix this system, and actually started a reddit thread asking for suggestions/brainstorming earlier today. One of the points of that piece - Bungie is actually putting itself at risk of a class action lawsuit with their RNG raid exotics. They've used the exotics to market the sale of season passes by putting them in trailers and commercials, but never said that it will be a total random chance from the raid, and you may not earn it in the season (if at all). This is effectively the same thing as selling someone a loot box without telling them its a loot box, and instead just showing them that they will get the weapon. Very dangerous ground they're on

11 RepliesPlain and simple, they need guaranteed drops after x runs. There has to be a light at the end of the tunnel. I can't believe we are this many years into Destiny and this is still an issue.

Every raid exotic needs to be a quest or they need to make raids farmable.

Its getting ridiculous now. Im on 71 clears. Dunno how many looted, but ive done 3 each week since release, then some sherpas on top and a few masters. 0 vex. Its all thats holding me back from the seal. I wouldnt even care if i get the vex or not. Got plenty of guns. But why tie a raid title full of challenges to an rng drop?

Whyyyy aren't raid exotics farmable. You can farm the new prophecy weapons but not the Vex, a weapon Bungie buffed because ''so many people'' have it.

3 RepliesSee, this is one of my biggest complaints with the game. I understand there's a "grind" but it's in no-way shape or form concealed beneath the gameplay. The gameplay is the grind. A good game hides it, a bad game is probably made by Bungie or EA. Yeah, yeah.. I said mean things about this game and Bungie. I always do and always will. That aside, the fact that I just watched some YouTuber testing out the fusion rifle buffs in the Crypt raid and one person he was with got Googly Eyes to drop for him after one run and said, "Oh, look.. I finally got Eyes of Tomorrow, guys." Everyone stopped and were like, "Wait.. Was that really your first one?" I think the guy even said it was in the hundreds as to the number of times he's done that raid. That fact and again with the Mythoclast, apparently, is abhorrent. That should NEVER be a thing in ANY game at ANY time. To have to run a raid so many times just to get the ONLY exotic that it drops is idiotic. Neither are even that good, honestly. Eyes is trash and Vex has some uses but neither are in anybody's main, repeatable loadouts they run with.

Edited by KR2X4B-523P: 9/7/2021 3:47:38 PMRNG should never be anything other than perks So many are just hoping to get either a weapon or catalyst and they don't drop I'm still trying to get the VW Catalyst in Crucible yet others get it no problem I do get the RNG perk rolls and that allows for farming if you want to put the time in but as regards to actually getting a weapon or Catalyst they should always be from quests or guaranteed drops etc RNG really does just ruin the game IMO

It honestly should be a guaranteed drop if you literally have everything for the Fate Breaker seal completed. Locking a title, that Bungie said is meant to show off a players skill, behind RNG drops is kind of redundant.

2 RepliesI'm on 50 lootable clears at the moment (missed 1 run on the 1st week) and I still don't have it. I'm lucky where my clan are still up for helping me every Tuesday, despite every one of them getting it 20+ runs ago. Although I am starting to get to the point where I feel bad asking them to do it each week. Here's hoping reset this evening I have better luck.
