I'm on the PS4 and since the most recent hot fix, I have a speaker icon next to my name as if I had my headset plugged in and was not using the Sony chat (under normal use when switching to the Sony party chat with your headset plugged in, the icon would disappear). Now the speaker icon is there regardless if I have a headset plugged in or not and is viewable by other players when they see my name. Has this happened to anyone else who is using the PS4? This is happening after hotfix 3.3.0.1 dropped.

All you have to do is turn the Voice Chat off under your Sound Settings and the icon should disappear.

1 ReplyHi there! Since Cross Play Voice Chat was added, it is possible that the icon will remain there, regardless of voice status. If you go to the Gameplay section of your Settings tab, do you see Voice Chat in there? If so, can you turn it off and see if the icon disappears?
