I really think this grenade or exotic should get a buff. I’ve done testing and it can one shot if you directly lad you made or if made lands 1 to 1.5 meters away. But this doesn’t happen often the nade feels heavy and slow even with fastball. And if the nada lands past 1.5 meters of the target it still does damage but the further projectiles die out when they start tracking before they reach the target, sometimes before they turn to start following the target. It would be nice for us warlock mains to get this looked into before void 3.0.

The scatter itself is garbage, buffing an exotic wont change that. I rather we instead get a sticky grenade where the nothing manacles allows the sticky grenade to one shot. Sticky grenades used to be so fun in D1, its a shame they suck unless you are a titan with ashen wake

1 ReplyWarlock void scatter has been broken for years. The exotic won’t fix that.

3 RepliesBungie have acknowledged that Nothing Manacles/Scatter Grenades aren't performing as well as expected. One of the issues is that, when the projectiles are tracking in the same direction as one another, they sometimes collide with each other and explode prematurely. Honestly though, the biggest buff they could give them would be to restore them to their D1 appearance and sound.

1 ReplyRegular scatter can osk them at that range so there is no reason for NM. I've tested them.

3 RepliesNope, it's on a good place, right now, at least it wasn't destroyed like RDM.

Very inconsistent. Bump 4 truth

They should revert Scatter Grenades to their D1 design. Grenade splits into 8 mini explosives on bounce and split again into 3 each on the second bounce. Right now, the grenade has fewer detonations and they are significantly slower. The overall damage remains the same, but the time it takes for the Grenade to activate and the lower number of explosives leads to a higher chance of enemies walking right through it with minor damage. Scatter Grenades should be a skill shot just like Incendiary Grenades. Both have specific timings and require precise throws but give up high bursts of lethal damage.

I hope Bungie will change scatter grenades back to what they were in D1 when they release the new Void subclass updates. I was very happy to see nothing manacles return but scatter grenades have been terrible since D2 released.

What I wasted my time getting these.

2 RepliesDid they ever fix that infamous bounce?
