The catalyst has been in the game forever and its the same as sleepers stim pack(deep pockets). You told us its the "season of the voop" so why not make it so?
It such a unique weapon with so much identity yet its hamstrung by its low ammo capacity. While so many of us want to use it but find our selves leaning back into anarchy and xeno because its just more efficient. 9 to 11 base reserves w/catalyst seem like the right area.

The cap for 1k is 8 ammo, and deeper pockets doesn’t increase that. It would need something else to it for the catalyst to be worth while.

Instead of giving it more ammo, length the beam itself to cover more ground. You could also increase its damage but I think it’s fine where it’s at.

You have burst damage, ad clear and it looks cool (the important part) If the buffed the reserves then they would probably end up nerfing its damage and that would kill the gun. I do think though, that double ffusion-reserves should actually work. Its +1 ammo for 1 mod or +1 ammo for 2 mods Treat the gun as a rocket launcher but more fun.

2 RepliesI wish. It’s needed a catalyst forever. I’ve begged for it since I earned it from last wish. It’s never been used in virtually any content except as a occasional invader weapon in gambit. Now with the mod, it’s being used. Let’s reflect on that… A mod is making it usable… A mod… That mod is gone in 6 months. What happens to 1000 voices then? It’s bull. Give it a catalyst. It’s a raid exotic, and deserves one. Give me some masterwork bonus. Give it a kill tracker. Make it spawn orbs. 1000 voices has been left to die in the vault since it arrived in game. Out of ALL seasons it needed a catalyst added, it should have been THIS SEASON! We’re back in the dreaming city. What a perfect time to give one of my beloved weapons a freaking catalyst. Bungie, for the love of god, give 1000 voices a catalyst. It’s fallen behind against virtually EVERYTHING in the game. It’s needed one it’s entire lifespan. That mod is gone next season. What happens to this raid exotic then? Give it a freaking catalyst. It’s the most deserving out of ANY WEAPON in the game with a season focused on the awoken.

7 Repliesthe 2 people that respond(Grandpa Gamer, elsA) saying 1k is fine have zero GM clears..... You can make any thing work in this game but the bar is stepped up for things like GM and master VoG. I dont get why you would formulate an opinion when you lack the experience to fathom the problem.

3 RepliesI was thinking it needs more reserves too, but after playing a lot this season, it really doesn’t need it. At least not now. With the mod, literally nothing survives, especially when paired with other 1K users. I’ve been doing master NF this week and you can melt the boss before the ads even spawn. Atheon gets one phased and it doesn’t even take all 8 shots to do so. Maybe master VOG and GMs will take more ammo but even then, you can just switch to a rapid fire FR and just continue DPS Next season the mod will be gone so more reserves could be added then.

1 ReplyIdk man, ammo isnt the problem. What they [b]need[/b] to do first is remove the hidden perk that compels allies to strafe in front of you when you hold down the trigger. Weapon would be super busted if it didnt do that.

4 Replies1k voices needs more voices; damage is pretty bad, it can't even half a bar segment of suro chi and she has a higher crit damage value than normal bosses and enemies. They nerfed it too hard.
