Nightfall weapon drop rate is terrible
Spent a load of time this week grinding for the hothead doing both hero and legend difficulty and have got one so far with crap rolls , the drop rate is terrible and because of random rolls if you do get one it might be crap , how are you supposed to farm a good one when they never drop .

I feel you, i did over 30 nf This week end and got only 2 in the regular mode and nothing over the 1550 light level and both that i got? have crappy rolls. SO ya, the grinds Continues .....

I have never been so upset playing a video game! This is ridiculous, not only nightfall weapons but I have over 25 Vault clears and no Vex. I play everyday and spend time and money on this game to never get these things! Honestly it's just time to find a new game to play and quit this game for good.

No there is something actually wrong with the drop rate. That or Bungie needs to clarify what they classify as Uncommon, Common, etc. We need clear droprate percentages so we can make an informed choice as to what difficulty we wish to tackle vs what form of inconvenience. Keeping it nebulous like this, is a major turn-off. I don't like Crucible - I mean I LOTHE PVP. But it feels more rewarding than Hero Nightfalls any day. That's sickening. If they can't bother making the droprates worthwhile, they could at least add a repeatable quest to pursue for those of us no able to pull together a fireteam reliably. At least then there's some bad luck prevention and we can work towards our goals.

Run several nightfalls this weekend, i must say im a bit surprised. 2 catalysts, 6 exotics, 2 Hung Jury, 5 Hotheads So i guess it drops! But be sure to do the streaks, and reset your rank!

5 RepliesI did at least 42 nightfalls laat season to get 3 Hung Jury, they all have subsistence and explosive payload. They were worth keeping at least but when you want one with firefly it is very frustrating.

They really should make newer ordeal weapons have a slightly higher drop rate than older ones.

Kind a funny that the easiest level to choose is "Adept" And the one versions that drops on higher difficulty are the "Adept" versions 🤣

I’ve done a bunch of NF runs on all difficulties….not a single Hothead. I’m getting exotics to drop like they’re common, it’s that dry of RNG. Is there an issue with it this season? Cause I feel like drop rates are practically non-existent. It’s not even Nightfalls, it feels like other activity weapons and some world drops (scathelocke). It’s infuriating this season.

It’s having a negative one. I really don’t understand their drop rates. Give people who don’t play a a lot, better chances to much sought after weapons. Than you see those people playing apex or genshin because they have everything they want. Make those who play a lot, work extra long, to get pissed off and finally put the game down because they see everyone around them getting things like vex Mythoclast. It seems like they want to run everyone off. Who designed their hamster wheel. In a few weeks, these weapons will be obsolete. Why not let them rain. Makes no sense

2 RepliesHave to agree with the op. Yes I lack the skill to solo legend / master, and don't have a Fireteam to rely on. This leaves me with heroic and everyone agrees that it is shxt drop rate. About to hit 50 runs with zero drops, how is it possible to do an activity named HEROIC 50 times for nothing? What a game. 🤔

7 RepliesGot zero on all levels of difficulty. I'd like at least one normal one before I get to the adept ones doing GMs. We get it Bungie, you got six months to drag a month worth of content but keeping the drop rates this low is off putting.

Like someone else said. Run Masters. Also use vanguard prosperity. I get a nf weapon almost every master or gm I run.

I got one Hothead with bad perks after a lot of nightfalls as well. I guess I will settle for one copy of the weapon for the collection and wait for GMs (or if it will drop for me after the 100k weekly). Got unlucky with the few master and legend runs I did, dropping no weapon and Hung Jury respectively.
